Welp last night at the gym before the 1st. Lets see how many people stayed "in"
It's always so busy around the holidays... grats to everyone that's still "in" on this and I hope you got atleast some of the results you were trying for.
well, I didn't do as bad as I thought I would around thanksgiving
Back on Sept 1st, I was 214.6 at 18.9%
went up from 200.6 at 15.9%
Yesterday I was 203 at 16%
So technically I lost 14 lbs in the last 3 months, but actually it would be 11.6. Either way, I'm happy about it
Still trying to cut down to 185-188, or 10% whichever comes first. Even though I felt like I was pigging out I must have been subconsiously eating right around maintenance because I didnt weigh anything out the entire week during thanksgiving.
Will most likely still be cutting until my birthday in Feb.

Funny thing is I was exactly 3lbs lighter 3 days ago, and decided to start supplementing creatine. apparently creatine does make you retain water... lol
Either way I had a great cut.
Now back to cutting.
Ok so took some measurements today and I'm happy to say that my gut has finally starting to go down. Up till now I was seeing weight drop and looking leaner every where else except abdominal. Still difference between held and relaxed but both getting smaller.
Didn't reach the 10% Body fat range but I think it's attainable. Thinking that I will keep on going with what I'm doing into the new year, then maybe for a clean bulk or more of a re-composition...

This thread was a no rules "CUT" thread. Many people started a few days late. Personally I didn't join until the seventh of Sept, Because I didn't get my Bowflex until the night of the 6th. That being the case I said up front in my first post, then in both of my later posts as well. That I'd be posting final results on the 7th of December. I'm pretty sure one guy said he'd be posting final results closer to the 14th for the same reason.
So, I don't think four will be the final number. There will be at least six people who stuck with it, but started and finished a bit later then the rest.
I'm also with redcaesar, in that I'll be continuing this well into next year. My stomach has finally started to look smaller, most of my remaining body is nearly fat free. Although I'll likely see good progress between now, and new years. I doubt this stomach fat will be eliminated until mid January, maybe even February. (just shy of "shirtless" season, next year!).
I can also say that once I eliminate this stomach fat, my abs should start to really show. They are already defined and bulky. They are simply still hidden by my "pillow top".
Once this fat is eliminated, I'll be headed into a serious bulk phase. I'm sure I could be building faster if I wasn't trying to loose the fat. By June, I won't even look like the same person anymore.
I lost a lot of fat, not only in my stomach area but throughout my entire body. For example I lost most of my second chin. The backs of my arms, up close to my shoulder were soft, now they are rock hard. My Pecks were soft and spongy, now they too are rock hard. I can feel my abdominal muscles through my remaining stomach fat (I didn't think I even had ab muscles). :-)
So, end result is I lost a lot of fat, however I simultaneously gained a lot of heavier muscle. I'd like to have gained even more muscle, but couldn't take in any more carbs or protein without fat gains. So, I chose to do this cut, before I start a bulk run. This is still the plan until I loose this gut. (I may try this subcutaneous fat burning supplement soon as well)
My most noticed improvements are that my jeans fit better, Women look at me longer, I have far more energy, and best of all,.. My sciatica issues have subsided significantly. It used to be I was afraid to lift anything, bend in certain ways or stand for long periods of time. Now, although I feel a light pinch after a hard day. My lower back muscles seem to be holding it all together a lot better.
My goal is to see my pants button, without sucking in, or looking in a mirror. After that it will be bulking my chest, abs and back (Arms will follow by default).
I'm using a number of supplements from BB.com. Mostly vitamins and health stuff like Omega's. However I'm also taking Myodex (test booster), BB.com's CLA (Fat blocker), I use Hyper FX as a pre-booster, Then Gluta-tren as an mid workout, Then Amino1 as a post workout. I'm also using BB.com's GABA, As well as their Casein protein. The only thing I'm buying elsewhere is this Six Star Whey protein is cheaper at Walmart then here. (Edit: I'm also using MM1000 Creatine, which could be causing a little bloat)
I pretty much consume 180g of protein per day (130g of which comes from powdered protein) I mix with water. Somewhere close to 145g of Carbs which comes mostly from my evening meal. I'd guess close to 50g of fat per day, however this is a guess. I just keep it really low.

it's crazy how much i underestimated my body fat % when i started my cut, thought i was at 19-18% but it turns out i was like 25%...doesn't matter though !
Yes just a number but still a goal that translates to a visual. I even went and did a Dexa Scan that gives you a full body composition details. My impedance scale had me at 16.4% the morning I went for the scan. Scan came back at 18.3 Total body. But showed me (which I knew) that I hold a lot of my fat in my abdominal/back area (android) at 28% BF and in my upper thighs/butt (gynoid) 23% BF. Any way here is my dexa scan
I've made good progress since then and very excited to see results when I get rescanned March 1st.

Update as promised. Rescanned yesterday(4months) at 137.5 LBS and 6.7% body fat! Pics and scan results linked below
I had goal of 140LBS and 10% BF. I weight in today at 137.5BLS and my impedence scale was at 12.5% I was thinking that my Dexa Scan would come in around 10% Total but was surprised and floored when I saw the results. I was measured at 6.7% Total body fat! Scan linked below but some key stats
Total Weight 160LBS -> 137.5LBS [-22.5LBS]
Total Body Fat 18.3% -> 6.7% [-11.6%]
Android(Ab/Back) Body Fat 28.0% -> 6.5% [-21.5%]

awesome job man. i actually stopped cutting midway due to work and travel, and haven't updated this thread at all because honestly, I'm upset/ashamed that I couldn't follow through.
But I started giving priority to my fitness goals again, so I started cutting Feb and have dropped 5lbs. I'm going to keep cutting until I get to 10%.
