Thank you .. About a year and a half now.. Although as my coach constantly is mad at me about, not "consistently".. probably not even quite a year of ACTUAL lifting :P haha.. I tend to go all out, then take a "break" (last break was 2 months).. lulz..
2013 goal - be more consistent
Haha, thank you

You've been lifting for about the same amount of time that I've been, but I'm self coached because I don't get along with enough the guy everyone goes to in my club. I also can't be fukked driving for over an hour to go to our PTC in Frankston. I'm just having a wild guess here you lift in CAPO or the pro raw?
Breaks really aren't problems IMHO, sometimes they help you bust plateaus. When you say a break I'm guessing you're talking about not lifting properly; not 2 months of absolutely nothing.
I do absolutely nothing for 3 weeks at a time every 3-4 months to assist my general recovery. My physique is a by-product of strength training goals, not a goal for my strength training. Insta: @ironpowerfemme

Who is at St Kilda? Gordon?
Haha no, 2 months of not even stepping foot in a gym.. Woops
This year I am going to be attempting a more BB training approach, still with PL basics, but a lot more accessory stuff geared towards "aesthetics".. I want my abs back
Can not for the life of me manage to get this avi thing to work.. Also, i've noticed a lot of people seem to have their faces blurred/covered/cut out.. Is this advisable? haha

Geeez girl 2 months of not stepping into the gym, I don't think I could even do that. Yeah Gordon is there but I don't see him very often (not training at the same times as me). The person I was 'pushed' on to was Barry who was a grumpy old crank to begin with which I was laughing at, he didn't really coach me just some pointers and spotting for a few sessions. Then I went to comp, to begin with I got to the airport and noticed him with the girl he had trained for comp, he didn't even say hello or make eye contact. I still made an effort to smile and say hello, I wanted to be polite. We go to comp and he was there, I had no idea of what I was doing and being part of the club I would have thought he would have offered help even if it was a small thing like 'when they call you go out and do this .... etc' but nothing, OK I shouldn't get too upset I was training myself and I was dealing with that. What most started to spin me out I missed one of my lifts because I missed the call, and he was bagging the living christ out of me in earshot.
BTW I shat all over the lifts of the girl he was training... take that Barry!
I use a hypertrophy approach and then I started low rep strength training when I got to the club, I'm mixing the two as my training which I find works best. I know that not being able to diet/I want my abs back feel babe, been dieting now for a few weeks and dropping weight slowly. I'm just peeling back the body fat and it's pretty exciting I can tell my abs are going to be there by the end of summer. ** YAYE**My physique is a by-product of strength training goals, not a goal for my strength training. In other videos he explained he uses wrist straps because he has tiny wrists and they hurt easy. Mine are ridiculously small but I find if I'm not gripping the barbell/dumbbell overly tight, I don't get pain.
This will be interesting. Got a session with a mate at another gym sorted out in 2 weeks. He's spent about $800 on PT sessions and I was speaking to him about leg pressing last night at the party. Sure enough, the instructor had taught him to do the good old 2 inch range of motion style. FFS.
