Hey everyone,
Done some searching and googling, I was looking for some personalized input if ppl don't mind.
Looking at grabbing my first pair of wrist and knee wraps and investing in a decent belt. Currently using the Altus one. It's my understanding 2M knee wrap is all a beginner needs correct? What length wrist wrap should I be looking at? 12 or 18? Don't think I need the 36...
Also was figuring on a 1 prong lever belt?
I am not trying to be redundant, but trying to find the best solution for me. First meet in November. (Rawunited)
Inzer for all? Titanium series? Guess looking for some input on that as well.
I really appreciate the assistance, thank you.

Can't go wrong with Titan wraps.
Titanium - more forgiving and stretchy but still very supportive. I use 2m for knee wraps for raw squatting.
THP - I been through MANY wrist wraps and found THP's (24") suited me best for shirted benching. They are very stiff and offer most support/cast-like. I couldn't bear 36" because I am wrapping my own wrist and putting those on took some time and energy.
RPM - I use 24" RPM wrist wraps when I bench raw/slingshot. My gf uses 18" RPM wrist wraps for her bench and she was very pleased with the wraps (she used to borrow my THP's and couldn't stand those)
Belt - Inzer forever 10mm, single prong. I been using this for 5+ years and still works perfectly fine. I had a 13mm single prong but I find myself using the 10mm more often.

Thanks for the input everyone.
I think im looking at doing the Titan THP knee wraps in 2M, Titan THP wrist wraps in 24, Inzer Forever 10MM Lever belt, and a titan singlet.
Has anyone ordered from Lifting Large before? I was looking for a website that is a one stop shop, but it looks like i will need to order the belt seperately from Inzer.
ThanksP.T.S. Getting stronger by the day

Favorite wraps when they are in stock are APT. But for a first wrap to get the Inzer iron-z are good and so would the original rhino wraps from Rhino power. Both readily available. Once you get those and get a feel for them you should try out a cast type wrap like the APT convicts/strangulators or titan THP.
For length get 2 meter unless the fed you lift in allows 2.5 and you have big thick knees. Wrist wraps to start with between 20-24" is good. Less and its just not enough and any more you should only get if once you get some experience and generally lifting an insane amount of weight.
Belts. Best belt you can by is a Bobs belt by Bob Morris. Quality all around is number 1. After that an Inzer Forever belt. Titan are good too but not as nice. I wouldn't get anything other then from those three. Bob's belts because they are hand crafted to order will take the longest to get but well worth the wait. Though if you order anything other then black will usually take longer from the other two as well. For the first belt I would get 13mm and single prong. Then wear it to break you and the belt in together. It will most likely hurt and be uncomfortable at first but do nothing but wear it. The belt should last you a lifetime. My Training Journal: http://tinyurl.com/jasons-journal

Don't forget a singlet will be needed too when you get in a meet. You can get it all from lifting large if you want to save shipping like SPFJudge said. Titan Texas belt, titan rpm wraps, titan deadlift socks, and titan singlet. You'd be set for your first meet.

Hmmm, I think I'll suggest Mike put together a beginners first meet package including each of those and get a little discount for people buying the bundle.

thats a good idea Jason.
Bob's belts looked intriguing but I want to be able to break the belt in a tad before the meet and with that timeframe, its too far out.
I am having a difficult time deciding on the belt. Ppl love the forever belt but a few have suggested the Titan. Is there a real "difference" between the two?
Talked myself out of lever, and am looking at the single prong. Also trying to decide between 13 and 10MM, for a beginner not moving real heavy weight is the 13 still best or is it better to start at 10 then get into a 13 in a few years as the weights get much heavier? Also, belt sizing is weird. im a 31 waist, but have been adding weight slowly with my coach. So i don't expect to stay at this low a waistline for very long, so do I buy a belt sized up? (33-35) or try to find something in my current waist mode (29-32)
Thanks again everyone for the great help! repping all i canP.T.S. Getting stronger by the day

Buy a belt for a life time not just for right now. If you want the best and original maker of the "wide" power belt its a Bob's. Close second is the Inzer forever. You want to get everything from one place Inzer or Titan is the way to go. I highly recommend the 13mm and single prong as it will be the most diverse and easiest belt to use.

I do prefer 10mm for dead lifting but have no issue dead lifting with a 13mm. So if I only had one belt it would be 13mm and same for if I were to choose a first belt. For the second belt then get a cheap soft 10mm if you want one from anywhere but an elitefts economy as they seem to put in some kind of layer in there that may be plastic and will always be stiff.
