I get this question a lot and it's pissing me off. What do you usually tell people when they ask this idiotic question?

i dont even know why I lift, cause I want to, and if people pry for more detail I will ignore. My parents would ask me everyday, and I shut them out of my life and moved out.
Its important to me, and thats all I need to keep going to the gymI need to eat more at work

Cause I enjoy the process, the result and I don't like skinny persons, because first thing I'm thinking of - is to feed them.. I mean I don't care a lot but still And I hate when people are talking bout my weight. Yes I've been bulking and gained some fat, but now it's cutting time and we will see who will be looking better close to spring/summer time

a few reasons:
i dont like being skinny
its healthy
when youre bigger most people have a little more respect for you
to be stronger
to look good
to feel confident
when people hear the term "bodybuilder" they automatically think ronnie or cutler and thats not what i'm going for. its ignorant but i dont care and if they dont want to understand they aren't worth explaining it to.

I don't know, I can't exactly picture people randomly going up to someone asking why they want to get big. Chances are you talk a lot about weight lifting/wanting to put on size/whatever and it's just people's way of discreetly asking you to stfu, or make conversation because that's all you talk about.
