is that okay? i really feel im working my back too hard if im going for a PR every single week sometimes twice a week. im now up to 405 and to keep going 5 lb every week is doable for me i think but i dont want to mess my back up. would it be ok if i did one week light (315 as many times as i can) then the next week heavy 5 rep max?

I deadlift once a week but usual end up doing my heaviest set between 3 and 5 reps, planning to do 1 or 2

heres a thought what about 2 sets of 315 or whatever as many times then for my final set my heaviest for 5 reps???

i just hope im not wasting my two sets by going lighter with 315...im def gonna be going all out on my third set but should i be doing it for all 3 sets. it just seems like too mcuh idk tho
