Biceps so sore, you can't straighten your arms

God I hate this feeling, why does it happen?
Doesn't happen every time, but it still happens every now and then, am I just working them too much?
Any hints on a faster recovery?
    I rep back...

The only time I get sore like that is when frequency is too low, like if I miss a day.

Anything that will get blood flowing in the sore muscles will help with recovery. Try low weight/high rep bicep curls.

yea its because you went all out right away without your muscles being in tune with it. This happened to me but eventually you won't get so sore, don't let it fool you though because you don't necessarily have to be sore in order to be gaining.

I love being sore though, it lets me know something is happening and it's not necessarily a bad sore. When I first started my arms got like that and it lasted for a few days. I thought I had injured myself as I had a hard time even bending my elbow to eat!

Make sure you're getting enough food/calories. That's the primary concern.

The second thing is like people here already said you probably went too hard too quick. It reminds me of when I was 16 and hadn't worked out in around 2 months. Went and hit the gym hard, and did a **** ton of abs. My abs were so sore the next day that I couldn't get up without help.

It happens. As long as it's the bicep muscles and not the tendons that's sore it's one of those good problems. You likely hit it hard. Eat good and get rest. If the tendons become sore (toward the forearms), it usually screws up my training.
