My great-great grandmother, ill for quite some time, finally passed away after lying in a coma for several days. My great-great grandfather was devastated beyond belief, as she was his one true love and they had been married over 50 years. They were married so long it seemed as if they knew each other's innermost thoughts.

After the doctor pronounced her dead, my great-great grandfather insisted that she was not. They had to literally pry him away from his wife's body so they could ready her for burial.

Now, back in those days they had backyard burial plots and did not drain the body of its fluids. They simply prepared a proper coffin and committed the body (in its coffin) to its permanent resting place. Throughout this process, my great-great grandfather protested so fiercely that he had to be sedated and put to bed. His wife was buried and that was that.

That night he woke to a horrific vision of his wife hysterically trying to scratch her way out of the coffin. He phoned the doctor immediately and begged to have his wife's body exhumed. The doctor refused, but my great-great grandfather had this nightmare every night for a week, each time frantically begging to have his wife removed from the grave.

Finally the doctor gave in and, together with local authorities, exhumed the body. The coffin was pried open and to everyone's horror and amazement, my great-great grandmother's nails were bent back and there were obvious scratches on the inside of the coffin.

I'll give my first experience at that house. I had many other experiences at that house but this is the one that confirmed it was haunted.

When I was 17, every weekend my mom and sister would leave and go to south carolina to visit my dad. This particular weekend they also took my dog. The house was 100% empty besides me. I was in the finished basement which was my room basically and I was packing to meet them in south carolina. We had a black stool that we always left in the corner. It was in the corner when I went upstairs to get a plastic bag for some stuff my dad had asked me to bring . (yes I'm 100% sure it was in the corner, I looked at it as I surveyed the room to see if I'd forgotten to pack anything).

I came back downstairs not 2 minutes later and the first thing I noticed was the black chair was dragged out to the middle of the floor and was facing the computer at an odd angle. I was home alone so no one else could have moved it. I grabbed my suitcase and bailed the fuk out of that house and called my buddy to tell him what happened.

He came over to my house and we searched the house top to bottom, including the attic, looking for someone who could have broken in. There was no one.

I took a pic of the chair being in the middle of the floor and have it to this day.

Clifford Hoyt, age 31, suffered serious injuries in an automobile accident in 1999. After he regained consciousness, he told a terrified nurse that he had died and visited Hell. He expounded on the tortures and anguish he experienced in frightening detail. He refused psychological treatment and was released.

Several weeks later, Hoyt's neighbors complained to their landlord that strange music was playing in his apartment at all hours of the night. Upon investigating, the building's owner found Clifford in this condition. Mr. Hoyt was still quite lucid and protested when the landlord attempted to call the police. Concerned for the damage done to his property, he took photographs of the apartment, of which the image above is an example. He left and contacted Mr. Hoyt's family, who contacted authorities.

Clifford claimed that demons from Hell were still trying to capture him. He explained that his body would burn incessantly unless he played music to scare the demons away. He would only leave the house for short periods of time to get minimal supplies, including large blocks of ice to soothe the burning he felt as he tried to sleep.

Doctors attribute Clifford's actions to brain damage suffered in the accident. He currently resides in a mental rehabilitation facility in Maryland."
