Here we go again, as Chuck D would say, time to BRING THE NOISE.
This week's stats and pics
Last week's weight 178.5
This week 178
No change in BF caliper reading.
Had a hardcore week. HIIT everday excpet for Saturday. While posing yesterday I swear it felt like my hamstrings were going to rip in two. But tonight it was right back on the bike. I am officially in noticably better condtion than I was in June at the Show-Me Naturals.
Even though stats didn't change much, I think the pics show improvement. Here they are. I compressed them with a different program this week, so I have no idea as to their quality. If I don't like them I'll post them at larger sizes.

Extremely lean bro, and you can really see the mass you put on, I see some serious mass added to shoulders, chest, arms and legs. Very good!

COS, thanks man. One day I'll get there. I plan on being onstage in my 60's. That way I'll have been training for 30 years. lol The goal right now is extreme conditioning, then add mass and work on symmetry improving every year. I know that my lats will join my legs as the 2 top priorities this offseason.
First things first though, Time to get STRIATED!!!
As for you keep doing what you're doing. You were smart and started young. The sky's the limit. Stay focused and attack the Lean Mass this week. Let's both look like superheros, and not the one's on Stan Lee's reality show.He who argues for his limitations gets to keep them.

Bill,
Holy Crap I have been lurking these boards the past week, but I have not clicked on your contest link until well right now and all I can say is this lst week was the biggest change I have scene out of you, your back double bi is nothing less of sharp, and your legs from the back look great, abs also tightened up a ton, I can honestly say now your are a head of the game for sure, all there is to do now is keep pumping, keep biking, and all your gonna have to do is coast right in. Nice Job.

Thanks, Andro. Unfortunately I'm not going to be able to do the Gateway Naturals. As recently as last January I had used a very popular estrogen blocker which I did not know was banned by the NANBF, one of two organizations which bans it. The other natural orgs just say to beware using it as it could result in a false positive thus disqualifying the athlete. I really wanted to do this show. I have been communicating with Shawna Meyer, the promoter. She is a great lady and I trust will run an awesome show. There is still a chance I might be in the crowd though. If I make it there I'll be looking for you. It would be great to meet.
If you don't see me there, drive into the city after the show and go to the City Diner on South Grand. I'll be there after 11pm. I will be happy to buy you your post contest meal. We have HUGE pancakes and pastas. I'll also serve you up that glass of Xtend I promised.
Now my sights are set on Nov. 17th, the OCB Midwest States. Sporto will be there and I will have to get super shredded to make it through my class and hopefully stand next to him for the overall. Gotta set your goals high, or why even set them.He who argues for his limitations gets to keep them.

Man Bill that sucks bro, i am so sorry to hear that. i can't even imagine how bad that must've made you feel. I was really hoping to meet you too. I thank you for the post contest offer and i may take you up on it. it all depends on my family though (they are my ride). but i'm sure i could've sat there and we could've talked bodybuilding for hours, and maybe we still can. thanks for the offer, maybe i'll get to take you up on it. but like everybody else has said, you will just be that much better at the Nov show. i'll be keeping up on ya through your journal. I'll be a middleweight. Usually one of the tougher classes, not that any class will be easy at this level and show. Let's just get some EXTREME conditioning and have the judges keep us out there forever to make the decision.
Thanks, T. You are going to kill down there in H-Town. You're dialing in well and still HUGE. Once the diet is over you're body is going to GROW. X-Frame!!!
I like the larger refeed. Today is refeed day and my chest was still SWOLLEN while training.
Thanks, Kevin. My split has changed now. I've got high volume legs on Saturday. If you're up for it you are always welcome to train with me. Nobody at my gym will ever do legs with me.
It sucks, I used the estrogen blocker before I even new I was going to compete in any org. I was shocked to find out that anything over the counter would be banned.
Big Nate said you were coming up to watch. I don't know if I'll be able to make it since I'll need to train and eat on Saturday. You guys should come to my work that night and get some hardcore bulking cheat food.
I was looking forward to seeing you and hearing you in the crowd. I will finally get to meet Layne at the Midwest States though. Your still an inspiration man. Can't wait until this Spring to see version 3.0.
Dude it sucks. I went to the website and saw that it was banned and right then things felt bad. I pride myself on being totally sober and drug free. Go out there and represent. You're looking great and still have time to improve. He who argues for his limitations gets to keep them.

I just got my new training program from Derek. Tomorrow everything changes. I am chomping at the bit to rock the new Pull/Push Load/Volume program. Since I have more time now, I asked him to design me a program to bring up my lower lats and lat width. I feel this will add to my lines and symmetry. Of course legs are going to be hammered as well. Gotta get that X-FRAME!!!
But this is what Monday looked like.
DB Incline Press
3x60x10
Flat DB Press
60x8
60x6
50x10
Incline DB Fly
3x35x10
Pushups
28
AbBench Crunches
200
My chest was THICK and SWOLLEN. I was surprised since I was pretty flat on the way to the gym. I did this workout in about 25 minutes which definately helps the pump. Still hit some poses between sets.
PM
HIIT you know it baby!!!
5 minutes warm up 15 sprints at 14, 15 LI at 10
20 minutes reverse True Strider Eliptcal
1 Round Madatory poses. Gotta take this to a new level of intensity and focus. The competition at the OCB Midwest States is going to be top notch and FIERCE.He who argues for his limitations gets to keep them.

Thanks, Joe. I've got extra time now which means I've got to get EXTREME CONDITIONING!!! Walking anatomy chart time.
Efforts will be doubled. Still hitting the HIIT 6 days a week. Started my new program today and am LOVING IT!!! Today was Pull Load Day, or as I like to call it
THE TRIUMPHANT RETURN OF DEADLIFTS
I'll post a full recap later, but I am still psyched from training. The focus is on lat width and lower lat devlopement/separation. I need to improve that line.He who argues for his limitations gets to keep them.

Thanks, man. Saturday is probably the only day you'd be able to make it into the city, can't take my g-fab car out to the county. Let me know if your up for some hardcore leg work.
I'm just glad that there's a show that I can do after dieting only to find out I wasn't eligible for the local NANBF show. I was aiming to be ready in 3 weeks. Now I've got 8 so conditioning will be EXTREME and I also have a chance to refine my shape.
Get ready, this is going to be sick. I'm sure you can handle it though. Now that I'm 8 weeks out we're a lot closer on each others Cut Diet timeline.
Get some good pics at the O.He who argues for his limitations gets to keep them.

THE TRIUMPHANT RETURN OF DEADLIFTS
Pull Load Day
Deadlifts
135x10 warm up
225x10 warm up

Wide Grip Pullups
8
+10x8
+10x7
Bent Over Rows
3x185x8
Form on these was exceptional today. I really felt it in my lower lats
BB Shrugs
275x6
275x5
275x5
225x10
Even though I use straps, the grip on my left hand kept giving out; weird and frustrating.
