    PR
    Failed

    Squat

    3x5 worksets 175

Notes: Last rep I kind of fell into the hole, if that makes sense. Butt wink would be putting it lightly other than that everything seemed real good.

    Bench

    3x5 worksets 155

    Notes: Still easy

    Rows

    3x5 worksets 145

    Notes Not too bad

Another quick session, SS has a way of doing that when you first start. Had some seriously elbow pain it almost feels like my left tri is bothering me a bit. Its pretty sore right now. I pulled a brain dead move and decided to push my way through bench and rows even though I could feel the pain I am sure I will pay the price for that. Going to try to get some squat videos up and maybe some bench soon I just run out of time to film right now and haven't got much interest in spending the time to upload videos.

Thanks Woody! Slightly encouraging that I am making quick progress. I have not been tracking macros or weight at all since I got back into things but I am starting again tomorrow.

I haven't done a single bit of shopping but I have everyone's gifts picked out except for the GF. She wont give me any ideas and I am stuck. The hell do you get for your wife every year?

    PR
    Failed

    Squat

    3x5 worksets 185

Notes: Got all the reps not sure if I am wild about my form though, time to film

    OHP

    3x5 worksets 110

Notes: Elbow pain on my last rep so I didn't complete it

    Sumo Deadlift

    1x5 worksets 245

    Notes The pull was easy

I think i should have stopped after my OHP failure, my elbow/tri felt terrible and the deadlift did not help at all. 2 days off might help should hit it with some ice and I got a few anti inflammatory kickin around still from my knee issue. Man if it isn't one injury it is another I wish this would stop so I can make some damn progress.

Thanks man. Not really sure, its right on the outside of the joint that's why I summarized it to have something to do with my triceps. Maybe I have to much flaring when I do BP/OHP? Video will be up this week at least for squats I am concerned I am not keeping my back angle flat. We will see.

Well fellas I hope everyone is having fun during the holidays and enjoying the time with friends and family. I took some time off while my GF was in town from vet school. Haven't been able to hit the gym and it appears that I wont be able to do so for some time. My company has decided to send me to Texas for an semi undetermined amount of time. Probably about 4 months if everything goes as planned. Will be going to 6 days a week 10 hour days Monday - Saturday. So the workload will create problems as well as the project will be in mid Western Texas. Factoring in all the time spent in the field and the time it would take to travel to a gym after work I doubt there will be time for working out. It sucks that this is what it has come to but with a career like mine things of this nature will happen from time to time. I'm not ruling out fitness all together but it will take some time to get acclimated to the settings before I can determine what I will have access to.

There is a bright side to all this, the GF has 2 more semesters at the Vet school she is attending until she starts clinical in September of 2014. Clinicals will be in the states so we will be moving somewhere together. I am looking forward to being able to see her on a daily basis instead of 1 to 2 weeks every 4 months. I will also likely be moving on to an area where I will be looking for a different job and/or furthering my education. I'm really looking forward to that, my job pays pretty well especially in comparison to the median wage in Maine but my job is not stimulating enough and working 7 days a week 10+ hours a day is no way to live.

So with all that said, I am going to be stopping this journal. Thank you all for the support, suggestions and most of all the time spent here helping me out. It is very much appreciated and I have learned a lot from all of you. I will be stopping by other journals from time to time to help motivate others and learn a few new things. When I get myself back into a regular lifting routine that I can sustain I will be starting a new journal, I hope you all will join me in the future.
