No problem! I get lazy about typing. PP is push press. Plus I have major typing issues!
And thanks. Feltgoodman.jep!
You are right! That would make an excellent Christmas card picture!
I was sad for a long time Lyndz. But I am not anymore. And I will say I have learned a lot from the experience. As hard as it is to have people you love put you down, I know now that it had nothing to do with me and everything to do with them. And it has taught me to stand up for myself instead of crumble. THanks. I am gonna ROCK ON!!!
Thank Geek! They sure look better than a yr ago. Good work I was bad in the beginning. Practice, practice, practice!!
I would like to say , Oh it isn't that bad. But that is coming from someone with a max bench ever of 110. Now, if I remember correctly you hit 315 for a single when you ran it long ago. So I am assuming your max is above that now. For you, yes, I am sure running those numbers sucked. But you have time. 10 weeks from next week to wrap your head around it. And if I remember correctly I didn't have to twist your arm that hard! Or you can give up and I will run it and kick your azz! LOL!Spoon Barbell Club

Packed my bags and moved out of Suckville!!
Thanks you! really needed that explosiveness today!
LOL! I did kill it LIKE A GIRL today!
Okay a few things to note before getting to the workout. First, this workout about did me in. I was sucking wind for over an hour after. I went back through my log book. I cleaned, clean only, 50K for the first time in Nov. I found 2 clean only at 50 or over and 6 CJ's at 50 or over including the meet in my log. So a total of 8 cleans at 50 or over. My PR is 52. So most of them were 50 or 51. Today I nailed 4 CJ's at 50. I call that TOTAL WIN!!! Man I was happy. I did get really excited on the 3rd one, work out was listed for 3, and forgot to totally recover my feet on the jerk before dumping the bar. So I went and did a 4th. I think I have finally moved out of SUCKVILLE!!!!
Snatch
2@25,28,30,33,35,37,39F,3@39
CJ
35,38,40,43,45,48,4@50 except I didn't recover on jerk right on the 3rd rep
FS
3xbar, 3x35,3x45,3x3x51
This is the 4 CJ's. The jerks were a little inconsistent but I am ok with how it all went!

Yes, I was ready to blow that joint! I was worried I had gotten a PO Box there!
Thanks Lori!
Thanks Sarah! It feels so good to be making progress in the right direction! YAY!!
I haven't done straight rack jerks and set a jerk only PR. So no idea. but I am gonna CJ them blues, 55 SOON! Very SOON!!
Thanks! I think Charis was really inspired when he wrote this program for me. Slow increments of increase, building volume closer and closer to PR weights. This week is 3 single Cj's at 52! But I am gonna rock it!
Early Am session this morning. Ready for my 2 days of rest and then back at it next week!

Thanks you Inky! Hope you have a great weekend as well!!
Yep, ready to put in some work next week.
I registered at the WLforums.com and set up a profile. I just haven't gotten the ballz to log my workouts over there. I got a pretty friendly reception in the calling all Oly lifters thread but was unsure how they would feel about an old lady Oly lifter!
Hi! Thank you very much and thank you for coming by! Are you an Oly lifter as well? I see you in other journals.Spoon Barbell Club

Will get on it next week!
I am a lonely Oly lifter in a PL gym. But I do love PL lifting. After my meet in Oct I will be doing more benching.
I am ready!
And thanks HIL, I will take that as a very high compliment!Spoon Barbell Club

Putting In a ton of good work Jj!
4 CJs @ 50 is huge!
Those klokov presses on the hole sound difficult as hell. I can't imagine the balance and strength it must take to stay stabilized, never mind to actually move the weight lolPRs: Back Squat- 410x1 / Front Squat- 320x1/ Bench- 325x1 / Deadlift- 505x1

Still killing it I see. I'm not an oly lifter but your vids generally look like you have the grace and patience of a pack of wild tigers stalking an injured antelope. Dem catlike reflexes, srs I am impressed.

Hi JJ,
Thanks again for your generosity. Steph is progressing nicely. She broke the already pre-smashed last pair of 10-lb bumpers the other day. The 10-lb bumpers you donated will assure she continues her training.. Great timing.

Awesome job on the volume PR Jani!!!!
That deer pic is awesome. My cousin out in Minnesota had a baby deer she found and raised for like two years before it finally realized it wasn't a domestic animal and took off lol.Powerlifting Log - http://tinyurl.com/jshaw5

Thanks Woody. The work feels good and the volume is building huge amounts of confidence!
The presses in the hole, I did them mostly for a balance and stability exercise. It is HARD!
Thanks Mei! You have come ALONG way as well since last fall! I am feeling pretty BAMF lately!
I first starting cleaning last May and Snatching I think last June. So a little over a year. The lifts take a while to learn and I am not as strong as a lot of people around here. but I am slowly getting there!
Them cat like reflexes started as kitten play I tell you! Thank you Hammie. I am not smooth as summer butter yet, but getting there!
BOOM! Tell her to dump that bar with authority! Slam it! She is just so awesome Joel and so are you! Hugs back!
Thanks Josh!
That is pretty cool about the baby deer. Too bad it took off. i bet they were sad!Spoon Barbell Club

I went in thinking that my snatch triple PR was 39. But when I got home I realized it was 38. So 4 triples at PR today and I only missed one at 38. So 9 out of 10 isn't bad!!
