Da fuq? Why would you use a debit card when it pays to use a credit card for every purchase?
Credit card pros-
Rewards programs. You can make the normal purchases you make while reaping the benefits of the card reward program. I pay my bill off IN full every month. I even pay my rent with my credit card.
Consumer protection: If there is a fraudulent charge, you are federally protected against that charge. You do not get that protection if somebody uses your debit card. If you dispute a charge, you automatically get refunded, and the bank makes the seller prove they sent you a item in good condition. Some banks will cover you on debit card purchases, but all banks are required by federal law to protect consumer rights.
As long as you have fiscal discipline and pay your bill in full every month, you are golden. Debit cards are good in case of an emergency.

Because even the most responsible people **** up eventually. They offer you credit for a reason, banks aren't stupid. Most people plan to be fiscally responsible with a CC, and last I looked like half this population is in debt.
my dad is an auditor and even he messed up a payment or two.
Debit plays it safe, its basically cash. downside is no credit rating lols.

I use debit card all the time and my bank used to call me all the time to verify some purchases from fraudelent
they block my card and call me, sometimes i need to use it but i cant until i call them which was annoying. But it just shows that it is still safe to use debit card, at least in my bank, no issues or whatsoever so far.

Most you do not. I have three credit cards, an Amex, Visa and MC. As long as I pay my balance in full every month, there is no interest. For example, I have an AMEX card I use at Costco, which I get 2% in rewards back at the end of the year. It is better for me to use a credit card then pay cash or debit.

That's why I use autopay. I can forget and check my statement a week late and it can't hurt me.

If your credit is fubar, that is more than likely your own doing.
srs do not know. If you go to bankrate.com, you can look up different credit card options out there, their rewards, terms and conditions, and apply if you find one. Check it out. You can also check out CD rates from different banks, and mortgage rates.
