Highway To Hell
Want to change it up while slithering around in the depths of hell? Jump on the Highway To Hell…a giant set HRT style. But a word of caution. Grab the trash can and keep it close to you. You just might need to unload your pre workout meal. Before starting this, set up each station that you are going to need. If the gym is too crowded, don’t bother doing this. It’s not going to happen. You need to be able to hit each lift one right after the other to perform this properly.
What to do
Take any Hell Session. For starters, you will run each lift in the session back to back with 15 seconds between each lift. One main difference while on the Highway is that instead of 8 + 4 for Hellcentrics HRT and 8 + 6 for Solo HRT, we reverse it. 4 + 8 Hellcentrics and 6 + 8 Solo. And finally, you will run this rotation three times with only 5 minutes rest between each rotation. So, first things first, set up all of the stations you will be using, run through them all and warm up for two rounds. After your warm ups, it’s time to hit the onramp and floor it. Your break is after you get off the highway at the rest stop just long enough for your partner to do his round or a maximum of 5 minutes if you are running it by yourself. Then it’s right back on it for the next rotation. Here’s a play by play for the published Hell Session I;
2 rounds of warm ups, then…
1st Rotation
Seated Front Press 1 set of 4 + 8 or 6 + 8 15 seconds then
Dumbbell Side Laterals 1 set of 4 + 8 or 6 + 8 15 seconds then
Barbell Front Lateral Raise 1 set of 4 + 8 or 6 + 8 15 seconds then
Barbell Curls 1 set of 4 + 8 or 6 + 8 15 seconds then
Reverse Barbell Curls 1 set of 4 + 8 or 6 + 8 15 seconds then
Reverse Barbell Wrist Curls 1 set of 4 + 8 or 6 + 8 15 seconds then
Barbell Wrist Curls 1 set of 4 + 8 or 6 + 8
Each lift one after the other with 15 seconds between each lift. Then take a 5 minute break and get back on the highway
2nd Rotation
Seated Front Press 1 set of 4 + 8 or 6 + 8 15 seconds then
Dumbbell Side Laterals 1 set of 4 + 8 or 6 + 8 15 seconds then
Barbell Front Lateral Raise 1 set of 4 + 8 or 6 + 8 15 seconds then
Barbell Curls 1 set of 4 + 8 or 6 + 8 15 seconds then
Reverse Barbell Curls 1 set of 4 + 8 or 6 + 8 15 seconds then
Reverse Barbell Wrist Curls 1 set of 4 + 8 or 6 + 8 15 seconds then
Barbell Wrist Curls 1 set of 4 + 8 or 6 + 8
Hit the off-ramp, 5 minute rest, then back on for the last rotation
3rd Rotation
Seated Front Press 1 set of 4 + 8 or 6 + 8 15 seconds then
Dumbbell Side Laterals 1 set of 4 + 8 or 6 + 8 15 seconds then
Barbell Front Lateral Raise 1 set of 4 + 8 or 6 + 8 15 seconds then
Barbell Curls 1 set of 4 + 8 or 6 + 8 15 seconds then
Reverse Barbell Curls 1 set of 4 + 8 or 6 + 8 15 seconds then
Reverse Barbell Wrist Curls 1 set of 4 + 8 or 6 + 8 15 seconds then
Barbell Wrist Curls 1 set of 4 + 8 or 6 + 8
Done. If you survive, you’ll be in and out of the gym in about 30-45 minutes tops. Oh, and one more bit of advice from me…choose your weight very carefully. You’re going to have to lighten it up even more to pull through an entire rotation. Enjoy.

Here's the workout I was able to get recorded today. Just one run through Highway to Hell! This is the split Rage has posted above. This was round 2 of 3 of todays session. Note during DB bicep curls I could barely hold the negative on the last rep. So pick the weight wisely. Had to drop the weight for the next round. So don't be afraid to drop the weight between rounds BC you may have too. I'll do legs tomorrow and try and get another video up.

Lol ya I didn't say anything about it figure would of lead to some strange painful experiment.
But in all seriousness very few that don't have time under there belt in hardcore training will not perform this to the needed muscle failure. Your partner is got to focus on you for the workout.

Nah it's all good my brothers. Those sandals are now part of my everyday training gear. Just gotta watch the weights dropping on the floor You guys both have been rockin this HTH really well. You guys are a bit sick in the head like I am and we actually like this stuff. Jay, run Tad on this for a week and tell him I want to know his thoughts.

My third and final round of HTH on Session III. Combination of Solo and Hellcentrics. Could hardly hold the DB's up on the last reps of flyes and the dips...couldn't even hold myself up lol. And of course my buddy Russell lovin every ****in minute of those close grip bench reps. Evil ****er. All in all, great training session and sore as **** today.

Did HTH solo today for legs and HATED it but LOVED it! Dam it was sooo good!!!! I have a couple videos to share I will get up soon.

I ran through this with Chest and Triceps last night, it is hard when people are at the gym they kept taking the benches and crap.. So it ended up taking 50 minutes.. I'm sure if it was empty I could have puked. I usually have doms, but i'm sore as hell today!! So ya this is some intense stuff!

Here is my video for Highway to Hell Session 3 note: this is my last round of HTH so I crash on the third chest exercise, muscle is completely shot by that point I had to drop weight just to complete all the exercises for this round.

I can't even imagine! I attempted to superset two things the other day and couldn't even get the regular 8 reps. In the shoulder workout video I see he's using 10lb DBs for side raises(if I am seeing it correctly)... What the heck would I use?!?! The 2.5lb weights? By the looks of it even that might be too much! lol
But I will deff attempt this at some point!Being RIPPED AS HELL is only 12 weeks away!

Thats the tricky part. If the gym is too crowded, its damn near impossible to run this routine. But if it's fairly empty and you have some accommodating members, you can really rock it.
Nice job Brad. Third rotation is simply emptying the tank completely and like running on empty for a few miles. Just nothing left.
If you are referring to Jay, yes, thats right lol. And Jay is a big strong mofo. He had to switch it up to 5 lb plates for the front laterals. But keep in mind he is doing Hellcentrics all the way through. You'll have to play around with the weights for a few weeks to nail it and then you'll end up getting stronger from that point. Give it a shot for sure.Lets get to work

Did HTH again today for back and rear delts. LOVED it! It's tricky trying to find the correct weights but I think I'll get the hang of it after a week or so.
