just bought my stagarms model 2. now just need to grab some omega rails from daniel defense and an eotec and i'm good to go. already have magpull butt stock and pistol grip. its a win day

5x235. these felt oddly heavy today. not sure why
squats-

rdl-
3x10@225. should of gone heavier. meh
hanging knee raise-
3x12
incline bb bench-
3x8@135. flirting with different grips. wider felt better w/ only slight shoulder impingement.
cable fly (low)-
3x10@50. finally have a cable machine. one of the few exercises i enjoy using them for. wait took forever though because it was curl bro cable curl-apalooza. like always
related curl bro atrocities committed today:
1. 1/4 squat, speed work box squats at 405
2. 2 kids belt up, set the bar on the squat rack inches above the height they need. put 135 on the bar so i assume they'll be doing ohp. then stand on tippy toes, assume a wide arse low bar stance, then do 1/4 high bar squats. never progressing over 135.
3. use power rack for 55 lb oly bar curls.
4. 1/4 squat 135 w/ toes elevated wearing flats?
5. advise kid doing power cleans that he's not "leaning far enough back" in his catch and that's why he cant power clean 205.
6. hammer grip curls w/ 15 lb db's
7. tell girl who's asking for nutritional advice that, the reason why she's over weight is: she's not doing enough crunches.

1. the art of karate
2. driving regulations did not apply in california in the 80's
3. the sweedish language, as it applies to 80's jersey/cali/high school relationships/class struggles/okinowans/karate tournaments
4. fear, does not in fact, exist, in this dojo
5. the plight of asian americans during ww2.
6. it's very important to breath

I know how it is with some days feeling heavier than others lol. Like 315 felt heavy as fuark last week but this week when I pulled 320 it felt lighter. WTF lol.

yeah man that sucks, in truth though tkd weapons focus are too pretty for me. i think kali in one of it's 1000 forms is the best way to go. sayoc is kind of commercial from what i gather and most true kali dudes dont like it, but whatever. it was fun to play around with, and the strikes/blocks are pretty practical.
