Foods and meals must meet these criteria:
1. Cost little to nothing in terms of cash
2. High calorie density foods/meals for bulking
3. Extremely quick and easy to prepare
4. Not much in terms of cleaning up dishes etc.
5. Reasonably healthy
6. "On the go" type foods/meals
I can think of bagels and cream cheese, boiled eggs, peanut butter sandwich, honey, oatmeal, spaghetti, milk, yogurt, ice cream, tuna, olive oil, bread, heavy cream.
Sample easy bulking meal plan:
1 gallon milk 2400cals
3 boiled eggs 210 cals
4 tbsp olive oil 480 cals
half a jar of peanut butter 1500 cals
4 cups oats 1200 cals
------------------------------------------
Total 5790 cals

Milk = numero uno. Choose the high fat version. As it is a liquid it doesn't make you full as easily as food.
