I am somewhat confused to what you are saying. But yes it is a mass gainer for you gain muscle(if you are on a good lifting regiment and nutrition is down).

Caloric surplus + heavy lifting is good for muscle building. If mass gainers help you hit caloric goals, then they're beneficial.

It's a solid Mass Gainer. If it's a matter of convenience then got for it. I know for me personally mass gainers do come in handy when I'm either away from home and don't have a meal to chow down on, or if I'm just lazy as fuk to cook anything up haha.

Recommended protein grams per day for bodybuilding is any between 1lb. to 1.5lb. per pound of body weight. Keeping protein high as quoted previously + calorie surplus(generally 500cal above maintenance weight) and resistance training is a good start. If you really want to get the most muscle gains try an keep a sustained release of protein through out the day, try eating protein every 2-3hours and / or supplement a sustained protein releasing product such as Elite Fusion 7, and of course work out 3-4 days a week.

Fail post is fail. Nutrient timing is not relevant as long as he is hitting his macros. For the record it's typically 1-2g of protein per pound of LBM (lean body mass) not per pound of body weight. I would stick anywhere from 1.2-1.8 depending on your current goals.
Supplement a good diet: don't diet on supplements.

??? Eating protein every 2-3 hours is better practice in keeping a sustained release of protein through out the day for optimal absorbtion, however if his meeting his macros then yes this is sufficient. However i am mistaken on the LBM, protein estimate i gave seemed reasonable as he sounds like he only just started.

The body takes what it wants/needs and passes the rest.. simple as that. If you know anything about the digestive tract and use some simple critical thinking you'll soon realize that that makes no sense...

Are you saying it doesnt matter if your eating 1 meal a day of your entire macro compared to increments every 2-3 hours?

I think thats pretty close to the point. Look up how long it takes for a Chicken breast to be digested and report back.

Meal frequency is irrelevant. Look up Intermittent Fasting. This shows that meal timing is irrelevant.

Meal timing is not irrelevant. IF is not optimal for MPS/day. However if all you're looking to do is survive then by all means IF yourself to whatever weight you would like.
