not sure, my job wanted me more than I wanted them. I did work in a stroke unit. It was a general hospital unit that got strokes and cancer patients. Even septic. There was no true step down at my hospital which is kind of crazy.
Strokes are easy. You will like it.
Check the senses, have a conversation with the patient if possible. It can test for aphasia, thinking disorders, I once had a patient that was stuck in a loop of naming random Texas towns.

A lot of new grads work nights. Some hospitals require rotating days and nights. As for 9 to 5 not in a hospital. Outpatient like the VA (not hospital) works 9-5 but that is a job that you work after you've been a nurse for a long time and don't like excitement.
Thanks for the advice guys interview went well hoping I get the job. Seemed like an awesome place to work and the nurses were pretty cool.-Miscs from phone 99% of time.

questions for P.A's
1) if you did a two year program did you have a life during school? Western University here in california estimates every week to be 87 hours of work, study, and classes. How can you get laid with that type of schedule?
2) are most schools located in boring places? the only school in california in a good location is marshal B ketchum. Im finishing my undergrad in the fuken ghetto right now and i hate it.-even lifts

1. I studied more in PA school than I ever did before. Many times I spent 16-20 hours in the library/lab/study rooms for gross anatomy. Our first semester was by far the toughest, but we blew off steam after test blocks. You can have a life, but PA school is difficult and it should be your primary focus. Not poose.
2. No.I don't gang bang, ho, I just gang bang these hoes.

it will definitely be my primary focus but i get depressed as hell when i am not getting laid.
can you list a few schools you know of that are in good locations? I dont think you can beat Marshal B. Ketchums location. it is in socal with a 35 minute drive to the beach.-even lifts

Guise, help a sista out.....
I never ever ever get sick. and when I do I take zinc tablets and it goes away quickly.
Well, I am in NY, I fly out wed. and I am sick as a freaking dog. I have a CVS bag full of snotty kleenex, my ears are so full I feel like I am under water and I think it might be heading south into my lungs since the dry coughing is getting more productive.
I have been doing 10mg sudafed q 4-6, zinc as much as I can, started a z-pak yesterday (I never do this but Im desperate), and just decided to add in tylenol cold and flu sever for more sudafed, and added guaifenesasin, and other potentially useless stuff.
The only thing I can think to do is get afrin to try and get my ears to drain. I know I have a history of drainage problems and have lead to horrible flight experiences while sick.... imagine someone shoving a hot ice pic through your eardrum from the inside during the descent. That about describes it.
I am open to any suggestion whatsoever. Please halp :'(What's Spicy Training For?? LIFE MOTHER F-ER!

Dang guys. Floated up to the ICU today to tech, got my first code under my belt. paraplegic pt with a pretty odd case hyponatremia.
Last meds were 2 hrs previous and he just bottomed out. Checked pulses, code button, backboard for the nurse starting compressions and got the hell out of the way for the code team. 1 min of compressions and got him back.
Now I get why I chose to go to nursing school.

Been pouring the water down my throat. I am actually going to take a shower today (gross, I know...) and steam my nose out. so is there magic in ramen? Cause I'm currently in little Arabia and there is no noodle soup to be found LOL. Lots of hommus, not much noodle
I really want to know how the doses were taken. I swear that letting the disc melt under your tongue and then not drinking like the directions say is the key. And every three hours. I was actually just looking at some writeups on it and some of the studies used used a syrup, which maybe hats the difference. Sublingual is better than into th stomach. All I know is, Ive been using it for YEARS, since the nose swabs started (yes, decreased sense of smell...) and now use the meltaway discs. The last time I was even remotely sick was probably 2 years ago and like this on it came on super fast and strong. Any time I start to feel the burning on my hroat/nasopharynx and the impending cold feeling, I start popping it. Might gt a little stuffy nose bt it never turns into anything more. And thi is while people at work are calling out for 2 weeks being sick the whole time with bad upper/lower colds. I used to get a bad cold every spring and every winter at a minimum.
Doubt it all day, but that **** has proven itself to me time and time again
Yeah, they dont drain well. Hx of ruptured eardrums from a minor cold, last time I had a bad cold I had to fly so I went to the doc before hand to see what I could do and I had hemorrhaged behind the eardrum somehow and they were all bloody. Getting on that flight terrifies me...

Try these tips below to equalize pressure for your next flight.
