Anyone with naturally wide hips ACTUALLY HAVE a V Taper???

I know there's threads asking about what to do, the answer is always shoulders and lat work, but i've never actually seen anyone post a pic of someone with wide hips who has a v taper, i'm one of those people myself who has wide hips, before i started lifting i had that / \ shape, since then i've managed to get my shoulders to even out, now i just look normal, more like l l instead of / \

anyone here actually manage to get one naturally?

if you have wide hips it just means you need to make your back wider.

i know that, which is why i focus a lot of back and shoulders, but what i'm asking is if anyone has actually gotten a v taper, who naturally had bigger hips than shoulder, or if everyone just stays at where i'm at right now, where the hips and shoulders are evened out...

I have wide hips but with enough back work I've managed to somehow get a decent taper.

a few years actually. Width came first but thickness took longer. Exercise-wise the usual suspects : pull-ups , heavy barbell rows, deads. One thing I force myself to do is 5 sets of pull-ups every back workout no matter what. Sometimes I don't feel like doing them but I think pull-ups do build a good taper.
