    heyo, thanks for stopping by. when i first started on EC i was taking too much and had a lot of trouble sleeping. these days i usually dose 3x25mg bronkaid per day, generally 1x bronkaid + 1x 200mg C when i wake up, another 1x bronkaid + 1x 200mg C around lunch time, and then 1x bronaid + 2 scoops jack3d about 30 min before i lift. i've heard the 3x8mg thing before but not sure if that's for pure ephedrine or what. bronkaid is ephedrine sulfate and i honestly don't know how many mg of ephedrine that break down into, but 3xbronkaid is a pretty standard dose in the US. not sure exactly what form of E is available in canada.

    nice progress brother. it makes me feel alright seeing that it is possible to lose fat and see a difference, as long as you keep consistent. im currently 35% bf and lemme tell you, it scares me how much fat i accumalated the past year. how long are you cutting?

    This is the exact type I was using at max dose which was 3x8mg pill + 1 200mg caffeine 3 times a day... was sometimes hard to sleep lmfao. Not sure if bronkaid is Epehdrine HCL.

    hey man, right now i'm finishing up the cut and currently reverse dieting back up to maintenance. planning to be well into a surplus and full blown bulking by dec 1. i'm not really following a strict schedule of upping calories yet, but planning to just increase by 200 or so every few days until i start gaining weight. right now holding steady at 2000 cal/day for a few days.

    alright, so here's the plan. beginning my 2-week reverse diet up to 3200cal tomorrow. tomorrow will be 2k and then increasing by 75cal each day until 12/1 at which time i'll be sitting pretty at 3200cal/day. right now planning to stick to 3200 until march 1 and then decide what to do at that time, either continue bulking for another month or go ahead and start cutting for summer. may adjust calories downward at the 1month mark depending on how fat i'm getting, or may just say to hell with it and accept the fat as it comes. it's all a learning experience from here, and if worse comes to worst, at least i know how to cut. LEHGO GAINZ.

    thanks, i got some pics on my phone from the other day that i'll post up tomorrow. my current avi is from sunday or monday, so i'll consider that my "after" cut photo.

    to be honest i'm not totally sold on the whole leangains/300cal surplus thing. i see the merits of it, but honestly it really seems slow and unreliable. you don't see a lot of guys get big on a surplus that small. you see a lot of small guys on a surplus like that, and you might see guys who are already big maintaining or doing a small bulk on a 300cal surplus, but from what i've seen, the people who really blow up in a fairly small amount of time (like the ones who get jacked in a year) generally bulk pretty hard. so i'm gonna try that out first and see what happens. i keep reminding myself though (and i hope others do too) that this is always just an experiment and that the worst thing you can do is get too set on one thing being the right way and everything else being wrong. i really think there's so much trial and error to this whole thing, and it's really about finding what works best for your own personal goals. for me, i'd really like to pack on a good bit of extra muscle over the next year, maybe 10 or 20 pounds. i don't really know how much muscle i gained before i learned about proper nutrition, so i'm not sure how much of my "genetic potential" or noob gains i've already used up. but i'd really like to look pretty damn solid in a year or so and if that means getting a little fat, like i said, it's so easy to cut fat so i'm not too worried.

    anyway, i just ranted for far too long. time to take a poop and go to sleep. adios!

    definitely *feel* more bloated etc from the greatly increased food intake but i really haven't bothered to weigh in much this past week or so because i don't want to psych myself out and hinder the bulk. the overall loss of definition has been minimal so far but i fully expect that to happen over the next few weeks. just trying to not think/worry too much about staying lean since at the end of the day that's not the point of a bulk at all. i don't buy into the whole leangains thing, seems like a waste of time to me.

    figured i'd throw up a little bloggy time. so first of all, i'm deadlifting 2x a week right now, gonna try it out for a few weeks and see what happens. donations for my back surgery fund are accepted via paypal or western union. DL day 1 is low rep, high weight working sets, and DL day 2 is high rep ~50% weight. did my first high rep session yesterday and almost puked afterward. 135 DL reps + squats, good stuff. my back is feelin all kinds of crazy this morning. this is bulking, eh?

    also, on the topic of bulking. i've kind of quit worrying as much about tracking my calories and macros hardcore. after all, the goal here is to eat as much as i can without getting too fat, so i don't feel like i need to be as vigilant about watching calories since it's really the mirror that's driving this bulk. i want to look bigger without looking fatter, and i'm still mindful of the calories in what i'm eating without having to be overly stringent about writing everything down. i make sure to hit around 200g protein, then the rest i just eat until i feel like i'm somewhere around 3000 cal. i've counted cals enough in the past 6 months to have a pretty good idea of how much i'm eating, so i'm gonna give this a go for a few weeks and see what happens. if i keep pushing hard w/ the workouts, i want to make sure i'm eating enough to get dem gainz. you won't find any of that lean bulking BS in this log unfortunately. bulky time = eating time, no pussyfooting around it.

    throwing this out there for any poor souls who read my log. i was at the point of using 2.5-3scoops jack3d before a workout. i realized the other day how stupid that is. don't be stupid like i was, please. stick to 1-1.5scoops. otherwise it's a waste of money and leads to nothing but stim dick and stim crash.

    I'm sure you are already doing it, but if not, take pictures from the start of the bulk and check in after 3-4 weeks, seeing that you are ballparking your cals. My cousin who is a competing bodybuilder gets so fat after competitions its ridiculous, and it happens so quick as well. BTW what does jack3d actually do? It's illegal here in norway

    good luck with your bulk. However, I don't understand why folks make a big deal about counting calories and macros. It only takes like a minute! Better to be precise so you don't waste time right?
