I was 1 chosen to run a log on a bottle of Detonate from Gaspari. Would like to say thx for Gaspari to a big thx to SeanFxxx for choosing me. It was mentioned I was chosen to log this because they noticed I enjoyed Spirodex for its ability to help me keep focused so this will be interesting to log/review.
This is my 4th day On Detonate just hadnt had a chance to start the log and I did finish another log when I received this.

I have been doing some reading on dendrobium and its interesting to say the least.
Lil about me
Still working on leaning out and anticipate I will be doing so right into late fall. I have been running my own split with 2 days off per week and been adding in conditioning work like upper body type HIIT stuff and hill sprints on the treadmill. I am a big believer in including some functional training and do stretching and foam rolling pretty regularly.
I am 39, with 1 son, work full time and going back to school in 2 weeks Cant wait to see how Detonate treats me for back to school learning...its been a while.
I am still trying to figure out what new workout program I want to run and torn between a 5/3/1 or WS4SB. I still have limitations because I have herniated disks so really only started dead lifting and my squats are mostly on the smith while I continue to work on mobility. I need flexibility in my workouts cause my days will always change so may come up with some sort of hybrid.
Starting point:
Weigh in after weekend eats is 212 lbs.
BF: unknown
Diet
I am currently still running IF with IIFYM and eat about noon-8pm or so. I eat 2 large meals and 2 snacks per day. I may be swapping over to a modified type warrior diet and comparing it.
I am hitting about 2500 cals on workout days, 2100 off days and ballpark of 3k on weekends with a cheat on top.
Workouts
Currently on a push/pull/legs. I do something like 2 on, 1 off, 3 on, 1 off extra off where needed. So some parts get hit twice per week.
I am moving from 5 am weights to about 5pm weights cause its going to work better for me with school.
Switching to something else and I have a deload coming up next week.
And with all that blabbering done...
Summary where I am at with past 4 days.
So first day I took 1 Detonate, bit of energy.
2nd day I took 2, about 30 mins spaced. I did feel sort of sickly in stomach and had a headache for a couple hours which bothered me.
3rd day I took 2 spaced about an hour. No issues. I feel bit more focused.
Today is the 4th day. I took 1 in the morning right when I woke and took another about hour after. No major issues, I do have a slight headache though, nothing major. Feeling a decent focus, some appetite suppression.
I will log my workout and diet later.

Argh...first day in LOOOONNNGGGGgggg time lifting after work. Normally I lift at 5am but schedule soon will make it rough so gonna try PM for now.
I decided may as well bust out my Super pump max so 2 scoops later and away we go.
Today was legs, calves, lower back.

Felt sluggish during workout. Got done what I could. Hope I get used to it soon. Think I have deload next week. Couldnt get to deadlift at all so next time.
To gaspari reps: I know It says to take the pills before breakfast but any chance I can get 1 pill with the superpump max? so 1 in AM and then I would time the other where I would go around 90 mins after a meal before I take it.Used to be fat, now just fat with a lot of muscle.

Popped one detonate this morning about 7am. I do also sometimes take bronkaid. At first was part of my EC stack for losing the fat but have exercise induced asthma, which may be turning into full blown asthma, so now I take some through out the day. Normall 1/2 to one full tab. I dont like taking it to close to workouts on cardio or legs days cause it may help me breath a bit better but gets heart to racey.
I am thinking about trying the 2nd detonate preWO with superpump max. Not sure yet. Id go 2 scoops on superpump. Guess I will think about it a bit.Used to be fat, now just fat with a lot of muscle.

Nice leg workout bro. Do you prefer smith squats over the traditional barbell squat?
I personally for myself don't take any preworkout that contains stimulants. For me I don't want to load up on too much caffeine. I'm stacking Detonate w/ SP Max but not directly together. I'm doing 2 pills of Detonate in the morning and a scoop of SP Max in the afternoon...so far, so good. SP Max isn't heavily stimmed so I think you can get away w/ taking it together...maybe start w/ 1 scoop of Max just to gauge your reaction to it. I have herniated disks (have had them since I was about 20YO and im 39 now) and took years to mobility work to be even able to squat. When I do try BB i get issues. Some day Id like to try them once I get some work in with smith.

Ok, my dosing today with detonate 1 was at 7am fasted and another w/ 2 scoops superpump max about 2 hours after a meal and 30 mins before workout. I didnt feel any different but think I am over trained and just switched from morning fasted training to evening non fasted so will keep an eye on it. Taking tomorrow off from everything including cardio.
Today I hit up chest/side&front delts/tris.
Some misc warmups.
HS ISO incline press: +50x15 +90x15 +140x10 +180x10 +230x5 +270x5 +290x5 +300x5 +320 (barely) x5!!
Flat DB press: 75x15 80x12 85x9 80x9. Was beat at this point

Skull crushers w/ deep stretch: 30x15 70x10x10x10 I bring these down over my head near floor.
Rope pressdowns: 120x10x10 100x14
about 90 mins for all. I was pretty beat. Couldnt get a pump, didnt sweat much and just couldnt feel it tonight. Was like this yesterday too. I am thinking its cause of the scheduling change. I am taking tomorrow off, back/bis on thursday then fri prob off. Next week is a deload I think, or week after. See how i feel going into weekend.
Macros today:

One good thing about not working out in the mornings is able to sleep in a bit. Prob fell to sleep about 11 last night and woke up about 615am. Hoping for a bit more but its an off day.
Def need this off day. Normally on off days I bring cals down at least a few hundred but I dont think Im going to low today due to yesterdays performance in gym. Think I need to eat and rest.
Took 1 cap of detonate today. Going to wait 20 mins and pop the other and get ready for work.
I will try to get a weigh in today but been bouncing around between 210-212 again.Used to be fat, now just fat with a lot of muscle.

ok first day off in while, no cardio, no nothing. normally when I dont do any activity i eat about 2k...2100 maybe. i bumped it a bit but wanted to keep carbs low. i refeed on weekends. Tomorrow is back/rear delts/bis. Want to try to hit up some core too since I normally do it on wed. I will superset some stuff in prob with arms.
i will keep with the 2 detonate in the mornings and tomorrow I will pop both at the same time.
Macros today:
Prob hit bed early again tonight and work on 8-9 hours of sleep.

Later today is a workout with some superpump max. I got some of the older sizeon but it has a bunch of carbs in it so waiting till i slow bulk a bit late fall.

Weight update: 208!!!
After floating around 210 for a couple weeks I had a NICE drop! Heres to hoping the detonate helped!!
Just popped my 2 Detonate and waiting for them to kick in so will chime in later how i am feeling.
Reworking my sleeping times to better adjust to school to school starting soon so went to bed at 11pm and slept till about 630 last night. Feel ok.
No real workout planned for today. its my sons 14th bday and we going for some grub tonight, fire and ice, he picked.

thx guys.
So the appetite suppression for me is minimal but it is there. The energy is nice, not like over the top but decent and doesnt get me jittery even hours later since I IF all morning. As far as concentration, tough call still so will monitor it. I would love to test this a bit when I go back to school but means take a dose later in day afterI have 1-2 meals in me.
Today is prob an off day. I normally would have lifted but with sons Bday and how I been feeling the extra day will do me well. I was going to get some work in before he gets up cause hes waking up about 10 now every day sometimes later. Schools coming next week, should be fun! This weekend I will be getting him up at 7am.
Macros wise going to be tough to count because we going into town but i had a small ~500 cals lunch of some cottage cheese, some frozen berries and WF 0 cals syrup with my vitamins and EFAs and saving what I hope is 2k or under cals in a plate and some treats after. I am going to try to stick to mostly protein for the meal. Going to Fire and Ice where you make your own plate. http://www.fire-ice.com/ Thinking tex mex or something.
Just hope I dont add a bunch of bloat come tomorrow!

Woke up about 7am, popped 1 Detonate and 40 mins later popped my superpump max. The 2nd detonate I had post gym. I felt like off going to gym. Not sure why, very light headed. Maybe to much of something. I had a good workout once I sucked it up. Next weekend I will take the detonate post WO since i fast anyway and see how it goes.
Warmup/cardio: 15 mins, 5 mins running @ 5mph rest incline walk.

So to start this post, I took my 2 detonate AFTER my gym session. This will be about an hour before I eat. Only things in me are a preWO from 2+ hours ago, some bcaa intra and a post shake of some glutamine, creatine mainly. I will post later how this dose hits me.
Todays workout I will sum up.
Chest/delts/tris/conditioning.
Chest:
some 5x5 sets on flat DB up to 120sx4. Ive done higher and would like to get back to it. When i was bulking i repped 150s pretty well.
weighted dips up to +90x5
High incline flys: 3 sets
HS ISO incline DC stype drop set
Delts:
HS ISO OH press: 3x8
Front ezbar laterals: 2 sets, high rep
side db laters with 30 secs rest 3 sets
Tris:
CGBP on smith higher reps nothing below 10 unless DC, 3-4 sets and at end DC style drop sets
Rope pressdowns, triple drop
Cardio:
8 mins walking warmup
and conditioning style of 20 mins postWO with 4 or 5 high incline sprints.
At end some foam rolling stretching, took a couple hours.Used to be fat, now just fat with a lot of muscle.

Had to get some bloodwork done this morning and needed to fast. Omg do I need a stim break. lol.
Popped my 2 Detonate right after, like literally I was a crack head in the parking garage staring at the pills wondering if I could find a spoon and take a needle from the nurse....
I will note later how I feel but I got "i need me some stims" minor headache atm. lol
Weight is up to 212 again. Should be temp from my sons bday weekend stuff.
On a side note my sons first day of high school is today. Next week I start going back to school myself twice a week Should make some interesting days to say....
