People of German heritage have been shamed into not accepting their greatness

You constantly see on TV and Movies about people being so proud to be of Irish, Italian, Latino, and African decent. They get Irish tattoos, have Italian flags on their cars, have Latino and African parades.

And what's so funny is that the Irish never really invented anything of use in the modern world, had no real great philosophers, yet their pride is so extreme. The same goes for Africa and the Latino countries. And, I'm not hating at all, I think it's good to have some pride in yourself no matter what.

But, why don't people that are from a nation that has had the greatest impact on all positive facets of the world -- science, philosophy, engineering, list goes on and on, feel this same pride? Why don't they get German flag tattoos and have parades. My guess is the stigma from WW1 and 2 has made people feel ashamed to feel good about where their ancestors came from, when I say my Grandparents were from Luxemburg, I assume people are thinking of Hitler and the bad stigma associated with him.

This isn't the case for me anymore though, and I urge you Germanic brethron to feel pride in where you came from. Your genetics are beyond superior in so many regards you should walk around with your head held high.

Most of the english language was based on Germanic as well. We are in many ways the originators of most of Western civilization.

I am of 75% Germanic heritage. Feels damn good.
