I prefer to boyfriend the guy next door than the greek god if the former has an awesome personality and the latter is just "nice".
It turns out that I talked to a lot of muscular guys (which I love), but it's hard to find a personality that matches with mine, so I prefer to go the other way around. Anyways, if the guy is somewhat cute, I tend to find him really attractive with time if he's brilliant, funny, interesting...

I guess that answers to this poll are highly dependent on what is your definition of a boyfriend and WHY you want a boyfriend. Personally, I don't WANT a boyfriend. I'm not looking for one. If I naturally spend more time with the guy, get to know him, am really interested, I may develop feelings and want to get exclusive. Other than that, a nice body (with a decent personality) can serve as a FWB.

Even as a guy I can tell you that personality is more important in a girlfriend than looks. There's a certain threshold for looks for sure, but once you pass that it really becomes more about personality when it comes to actually dating.

I can smash good looking girls who are total bitches without dating, so why would I want to date them?

Well honestly, I consider myself pretty chubby (right now), so I have pretty low standards looks wise. I'm in high school, and most of the guys are really shallow, which I hate. I've also noticed that in my high school, the hotter the guy is, the shallower he tends to be. Obviously this isn't always the case though. And even when I get a good body, I won't go for "hot" guys unless they are smart and nice. Even then, I would feel a lot of pressure to always look my best and would wonder why the heck he was dating me. I mean, let's face it, a hot, smart, nice guy in high school can pretty much get any girl he wants. I actually kind of like a guy who is overweight, but he's really nice and smart and funny. =) He's always asks me for hugs and we're both really awkward huggers, but I like our awkward hugs=)

If by looks you mean height, then looks is 100%. Must be 6'2 or taller. Short guys have terrible personalities anyway, always overcompensating, always have something to prove. If he is 6'2+, he already is guaranteed to have better personality, so I guess personality and looks are both 100% since with one you get the other.
