    Thumbs up FrankiBojangles and Gaspari Detonate Fat!!!

    Shout out to Gaspari Nutrition for sending me a months worth of Detonate before it hits the shelves.



    I've never used a thermogenic product before so i'm pretty excited to see what kind of results I get from a month of use. I've been trying to shed a little bit of fat around the midsection (it's hard, mang) and Detonate should really help me achieve my goal in time for Olympia and the Vegas pools

    My stats: 5'6" and I weighed in at 144.2 today. BMR is 1618.97 and maintenance is 2509 (Harris Benedict). I've been trying to cut 500 calories by doing an extra 30 minutes on the elliptical once I get home from the gym for the past 1-1 1/2 months - I've seen a little more definition but nothing extraordinary. My problem is that i LOVE sweets...pastries are my kryptonite It's funny because i've had two guys in different threads drop the "Do you even eat? You need real food..." lines on me after seeing my stats. Believe me...this boy can EAT. My wife's a pretty damn good cook I'm hoping Detonate can curb some of the cravings I get.

    My workout routine: Do I even lift? I'm doing it wrong. I do full bodies 4 days a week - Mon, Tue, Thurs., Fri. I start each workout with a 2.5 mile run - I don't think cardio before weights isn't popular around here but i've always done it this way. I just like working up a good sweat before weights. I do a mixture of free weights and machines for an hour and follow an 8x8x8 routine.

    My stack: I'll be stacking Detonate with SP Max and SizeOn PC for the duration of the log. I plan on taking 2 pills of Detonate when i wake up at 5am, a scoop of SP Max roughly 10 hours later, and a scoop of SizeOn Pre Contest during my workout. I'll take a pic each week so you guys can see what progress (if any) i've made.

    Day 1

    Woke up and took 1 pill of Detonate on an empty stomach at 5am. Left home at 5:10 and it hit me at 5:20...I know this because it was dark and I was driving behind a garbage truck. The garbage truck's break lights came on and I was transfixed on them...such a weird sensation. For the remainder of the drive I felt off. Not in a "I feel sick" way, but in a "something I haven't experienced before is going on in my body/head." I usually get to work dead tired but I honestly did feel a little pep in my step...not sure if it's because I was psyching myself out though. I guess we'll see in time whether the energy is sustained. I did feel good through the day though.

    I didn't eat drink anything for 1 1/2 hours after taking the pill. Had my coffee at 6:30 followed by an apple at 7:30, a bowl of oatmeal at 9, and a tuna sandwich at 11. I'm a creature of habit and always space my meals out like this, haha. I'm a freak like that. I can't say that my appetite was suppressed today but it was only the first day. I'm going to bump it up to 2 pills going forward. I'll be back tomorrow with another update. Cheers!

    Edit: One thing that I forgot to note is that I took 3 dumps...very out of the norm. It's always one. Still too early to tell if Detonate was the culprit though.

    Yeah, I asked Des if they would be ok to stack and he gave me the green light. Wouldn't want to overstim myself, but the Detonate and SP Max will be spaced out over 10 hours so no biggie...plus, SP Max isn't a pre that's overly stimmed to begin with.

    This is true which is why it's a great preworkout. I'm not taking any preworkout while i'm on Detonate. Well let me correct that. I'll be using the rest of my Hemavol if need be.

    Day 2

    Took two caps upon waking up at 5am, which kicked in roughly half an hour later. Let me start off by saying that I wake up pretty damn early and I don't get nearly the sleep I should. I'm usually in zombie mode for the first few hours at work. The 2 caps KICKED ME IN THE FACE...in a good way of course

    I was focused and energized like you wouldn't believe. Felt an increased heart rate for a while, but nothing that was overly concerning. My mood was greatly improved, i was more sociable...it was awesome to be quite honest. No jitters, just a smooth prolonged boost of energy and focus. My appetite was suppressed as well. I follow the same routine 5 days a week: Wake up at 5, sip on coffee, start getting hungry around 7, eat an apple at 7:30, eat a bowl of oatmeal at 9 followed by lunch at 11. I wasn't hungry at all until 9 today. I had my apple and didn't even touch it. I ALWAYS eat my apple!

    I weighed myself when I got to the gym yesterday afternoon so I think i'll keep that up to keep everything consistent. I came in at 143 on the dot today, which is 1.2 pounds less than yesterday. Same routine as yesterday - SP Max pre and SizeOn intra. Cranked out 2.5 miles on the treadmill and a little over an hour of lifting before calling it quits...been a long week so I skipped the extra 30 minutes of cardio i've been doing lately.

    Happy with Detonate so far...great energy, focus, improved mood, and dropped a little over a pound. Dis gon' be good.

    Yeah man, one of the few benefits of being a smaller guy...stims hit me harder than the rest of you guys, haha. I just came off of a one month stim break so that may be another reason why i'm feeling a good boost from it

    Day 3

    I take Wednesday and weekends off from the gym so no workout info to provide today. I did go into the office for a little overtime and Detonate came in handy. Here's the rundown for today:

    Woke up pretty hungry and took 2 pills of Detonate at 6am. By the time I got to work at 6:30 the hunger had completely subsided. I started drinking my coffee at 7 and didn't get hungry until 9-9:30ish. Appetite suppression ftw. The energy and focus that I experienced once the pills kicked in was amazing. I'm currently working on a big project at work and it's nice being able to really focus in on it. Again, I felt my heart rate increase ever-so-slightly on 2 pills but it wasn't racing or anything. I've read some say that they've been sweating but I haven't experienced that so far. For the second consecutive day I found myself chatting more with coworkers...the improved mood is one of my favorite aspects of the product.

    I weighed in at 142.8 thirty minutes ago (trying to weigh in at the same time every day), which is 0.2 lbs lower than yesterday and 1.4 lbs lower than when I started Detonate. Nice, steady weight loss so far...hoping to keep it up! I'll be back tomorrow.

    Man, I hardly ever weighed myself before this. I'm ALWAYS between 144-146...at 27 it's getting harder to change my body composition

    Day 4

    Woke up at 7:30am and took two pills of Detonante. I've noticed that I start feeling the effects between 20 and 30 minutes after taking the pills so I went to the pool at 8am to coincide with that timeframe. I lost count of the total number of laps I did but it was between 15-20. The energy boost from Detonate came in sooooo handy! I just started incorporating swimming into my workout routine in hopes of dropping some lingering fat and it's a cold hearted biotch. I can run on a treadmill w/ no problem but swimming cardio kicks my butt I can honestly say that this week was easier than last though. The boost of energy from Detonate helped me push through the laps and I didn't fatigue as early as I usually do. I spent the rest of the morning pretty tired but I think that's more the result of the swimming and not the result of Detonate failing to do it's job.

    My appetite has continued to be suppressed. I find that i'm good without food for about three hours after taking the pills. I had a large breakfast at 10:30 and skipped lunch since I didn't experience any hunger.

    I weighed in at 141 today which is 1.8 lbs lower than yesterday and 3.2 lbs lower than when I started. The number today may be skewed, however, since I didn't eat lunch. I'll be interested to see what I weigh in at tomorrow.

    Here's the latest picture of my progress. I think there's a little more definition than when I started...likely the result of some that weight loss Detonate has helped me achieve

    Day 5

    Woke up at 5:30am and took two pills of Detonate as has been the norm for me since Friday.

    The good: Again, I experienced an improved mood. Don't get me wrong, i'm not a jerk at work, but Detonate has certainly made me more chipper and chattier w/ coworkers. As soon as I got to work at 6, I started a round of "Good morning! How was your weekend?" It's a good feeling.

    The bad: I've written about the increased heart rate i've been experiencing, and it hasn't been a big deal...until today. I started feeling ill to be honest. It's odd because i've felt great the last 4 days. I got the energy boost but it was just, like, overload for my body. I felt "off" for the rest of the morning and into the afternoon. The 2 pills have been good to me up to this point so i'm not going to abandon it after a day, but i'll be closely monitoring any adverse reactions I have going forward. If I start feeling ill again i'll strongly consider switching to 1 pill a day.

    Weighed in at 141.6, which is 0.6 lbs higher than yesterday but still 2.6 lbs lower than when I started. I had a huge scone (no bueno!) and two tacos for lunch so i'm not surprised that I gained a little weight

    Although I wasn't feeling great, Mondays are a gym day and it takes a lot for me to skip a gym day, so I mixed my SizeOn Pre and headed out. Started the workout with a 2.5 mile run on the treadmill to work up a good sweat. Weights for a little over an hour - definitely not my best day though. Felt weak, mang. I'll usually bench my bodyweight 8x8x8 but could only muster 8x8x6 today...feelbadman. Got home and did 30 extra minutes of cardio on the elliptical to cut some extra calories for the day. Bad workout day but i'll come back strong tomorrow

    Glad you're not having ill sides anymore with your heart man. Keep an eye on that for sure.

    Don't be hard on yoruself when it comes to the gym session bro. When cutting it does have an effect on your overal workout/strength so just keep that head up bro.

    I know what you mean about being in a better mood at work. I also start my shift at 6am and usually wish death upon everyone around me haha. So far though it's been nothing but good vibes.

    Day 6

    Woke up at 5:30am and took 2 pills of Detonate. By the time I got to work at 6, I was starting to feel the extra energy and focus coming on and that lasted until around 12. The great news is that I had no ill effects today - yesterday was just one of those days I guess. Mood, as usual, was very good and is my favorite aspect of the product so far.

    I continue to experience some appetite suppression in the morning. I ritually eat an apple at 7:30 and oatmeal at 9, but lately i've been skipping the apple as I don't get hungry until 3 hours after taking Detonate.

    Got home at 3:30, took a scoop of SP Max, mixed my SizeOn Pre, and headed to the gym. MUCH better workout today. Started off with a 2.5 mile run on the treadmill and then did my full body routine for the next 1:15...long workout today, which made up for the terrible one yesterday. I was dead tired by the time I got home, but I put more work in by doing 30 minutes of cardio on the elliptical. I'm going to be hurting tomorrow but I take Wednesdays off so it'll give me time to recoup

    Weighed in at 143.6 which is 2 lbs heavier than yesterday (had oatmeal for breakfast and a normal serving of rigatoni for lunch so i'm sot sure where the extra pounds came from) but 0.6 lbs pounds lower than when I started the log. I'll definitely continue watching what I eat. I haven't been snacking at night and i've been drinking less coffee, which is good.

    Yeah man, definitely not the preferred routine around here, haha. When I first started exercising regularly/seriously I'd always hop on the treadmill first. I had no clue about glycogen levels...really didn't know any better. I'm more educated now but still run before lifting...i'm just so accustomed to it now that lifting first doesn't feel natural to me. Can't teach an old dog new tricks I suppose. I bet the guys at the gym are like, "WTF? He's doing it wrong..."

    So bit of ill feelings when you first started? I got hit with this a bit during day 2 and 3 myself. It does seem to go away rather quickly. This is why I like to start new supps slow.

    Experienced a negative reaction on day 5, which pretty much lasted all day. Day 6 was smooth sailing though. Popped 2 pills almost 30 minutes ago and so far, so good.

    Are you doing 1 pill or 2? Nice weight loss in your sig - good luck w/ your 2012 goals!
