SO basically I wanted a phoenix 3/4 sleeve the dude drew out the phoenix did some shading and i wasnt too happy with it so i chnaged artists in the middle... idk what to do i might just laser the **** off eventually. Its not finished yet.. a few more sessions but fuuu. Anyways.. the bottom is a cobra and the line work wasn't done by my current artist. Any suggestions on how to maybe spruce is up or make it look better would be appreciated but no hate plz bras. The second pic is what it looked like before.. the dumbfck drew these straight lines in there for no reason. But I was a noob to tattoos and he claimed that he had seen wind bars like that before.

I would add color the phoenix that will really make it stand out.
so, the original artist was just planning on having straight lined wind throughout the arm?
idk why you seem like you dont like it soo much. maybe its the tattoo in general? Just a oh well I went this far already might as well finish it
edit: that first pic doesnt look bad at all too me, like I said just seems you dislike the tattoo all together lol

got some more work done to my left arm sleeve today....dont mind the girl on forearm, had some crazy reaction to an ointment when forearm was done and it pulled ink out all over the place so having entire forearm touched up later on.

Think I found the guy, Anil Gupta
Knew about his work for a long time but had no idea he was located in NY
Any idea on approximately how many a hours a half sleeve black and grey would take?*METS*KNICKS*VIKINGS*

Like asking how long a piece of string is.
My sleeve is almost around a half sleeve now and has taken roughly 15 hours, but then again it has alot more detail and shading them most sleeves and my artist is a bit slower then normal artists.
Looking at that sleeve and detail, probably around 10 hours for a half sleeve, consistent shading is pretty easy. Basically only needs outline and shading.Current Lifts - B 140kg x 5| S 185kg x 3 | D 200kg x 6 | Front S 130kg x 5 |

thanks man, ya my arms were full of black and grey so I wanted a full color sleeve very happy with this artist he used to be a professional artist before he started doing tattoos(legit degree and sold his art)so he loves doing color and blending and contrasts, the knife thats still black and grey will be colored eventually and you can kind of see the grenade that he went and colored already, the knife and grenade are both 6 year old pieces and the inner bicep piece and wrist text were already there.
I have a full outlined sleeve on my other arm thats going to be full black and grey
side piece
back piece
3 small pieces on my calves
small piece in between my stomach and private parts
think next up after this sleeve is a calf sleeve
will say though color is a lot more work then I expected lol...some spots in my arm and certain colors and a pain in the ass to get to stick in my arm, that inner crease of the elbow just keeps refusing to hold that blue, it def doesnt feel good just having color piled into sensitive spots
