michaelangelo's La Pieta by Lil B several days ago. right shin, 8 hrs. we will add a background and other elements to blend it in with the Moses piece on the right calf.

Honestly man, I've always thought Lil B is better than Jun. I feel like his stuff is a little tighter. I'm glad to see someone has a bunch of really good black and gray work. I'd love to get something from the likes of B, Josh Duffy or Carl Grace, but I feel like I have too much color and it would make the black and gray look out of place. What all do you have lined up in the future? When's your next appointment with roman?

thanks, brother. Lil B has hit a break through in his work. ever since he started at his new shop, his work really improved. Lil B has never done a leg sleeve and he asked me a few months ago if he could have my right leg. I accepted. next appt, we will do the background. from there, we will start on the upper leg. first will be bernini's angel/cross sculpture on my outer quad. from knee to hip. not sure from there. I will have him do my left forearm as well. We have two pieces picked out for that.

nothing booked for roman, lol. total screw job. he's on a world tour until the end of june, so sometime in july.

I have fernie andrade left chest in june. jun in july to start my right arm. plus, nine future appts booked for 2014/15. noah to finish my right ribs in july.

I wouldn't worry about mixing color and B/G. my left half sleeve to neck and left lower leg is all color. more than likely, my entire right leg will be color. it will be a mix of stuff from some pretty decent artists.

btw, I don't want to jinx it, but I'm pretty sure I have an "in" with Nikko. I should hear something soon. if I get booked, I will have him do aphrodite (color) on my left inner calf next to roman's piece.

it's cool that you notice the difference. it took me a long time for that to sink in. lil b is nearly 100% realism. jun's sculpture pieces are exaggerated, bold, cartoonish, fantasy in design. that is why they "pop" and are so visually stunning.

I'm in outside sales. construction related. the wife makes as much as I do. plus, no kids (married 17 yrs).

I started laser removal last weekend. Chit hurts like hell but it will be worth it in the long run. Brb my skin will have better art than the luvre. All the red ink blistered up, which apparently is natural. I'm not looking forward to my next session.

the nikko contact is through one of lil b's boys. I probably jinxed it by posting, lol.

he recently started to add a bolder outline to the main subject of the piece. I like it as well.

I love carlos' work. so many great artists, so little space!
