I have a chest plate and have been thinking about getting a quarter sleeve connected too it but short on ideas, thinking of my zodiac sign (Taurus) which describes my personality very well and just let my artists run with that idea and see what he comes up with.

My last name
Figured I would get something I wouldn't regret. And I am proud of my family and my family name. A big bunch of farmers and cattle ranchers that go back generations.
A survival crest
I spent 6 weeks as a teen and 6 weeks as a member of the Canadian military in the bush working towards becoming a survival expert. When I graduated, I got this tattoo a few weeks after.

I'm different from the guy above. shading is worse for me. four needles vs one needle makes a huge difference. plus, with shading and coloring, they tend to go over it multiple times to really saturate the area vs one time for the outline. most of the time, I hardly feel the outline.

Wow the pain difference people feel is pretty amazing.
Shading feels so "soft" compared to the outline for some reason, outlines near underarm were the worst.
The absolute worst is after like 5 hours of shading, when the line needle comes back out to put some white in there. Fuuuuu.S:551, B:397, D:617

What would you suggest for a memorial tattoo? I want to get one in the memory of my mother, but I have no idea. I was thinking about her name and the two dates, but I am not certain about the position of these elements. Do you have any ideas, elements which are suitable for such a tattoo? Just want to hear some opinions. Thanks!

With iron heel it slays the strong,
