Me too Jani it is a learning process and it gives me something to focus on like your Oly comps. Always better when you have a goal/end date in mind at least for me.
11 weeks yikes!
My suit was picked up by Lester at Vizion so it should have it's revisions completed and hopefully returned quickly so I can decide which one to wear this time it will be the green or the new blue one
I would like to find a posing coach that is here in the city to help as I wasn't a huge fan of the online help and skype as it is a bit better to have someone "position" you properly to try and get the learned behavior correctly however my posing coach won Canadians for her division in bikini in July. I'll find a pic as I would like to have a body shape similar to hers.

Thanks Sarah.
I watched my video last night from the show. I wasn't that bad, a bit stiff but I already knew that so I think some hip wiggles and more comfortable feeling with it all will help this next round. If I can figure out how to crop the video to the important parts I will post it. Videographer was horrible, bad angles just not to impressed with it to be honest, especially for $100."That's not sweat that's your fat cells crying" anonymous

Strong Curves B
BW shoulder elevated single leg hip thrust: 15/15 x 3
Chin up with band: 5, 5, 5
DB Step UP: +20per DB x 10/10 x 3 Knees still not happy with this
BB Military Press: 50 x 8, 50 x 8, 50 x 8 up 5 lbs tough but good, switch to my oly bar this time and just about bailed when I hit myself in the nose on the way up
Prisoner 45 back ext (on ball): 12, 12
Banded Seat Abduction: 20
Straight-leg sit up: 20 (lexi was sitting on my ankles and this turned into who could poke who in the belly faster lol)
45 degree side bend: 20/20
Feeling stronger, may try the first set of chins without a band next time round and see where it gets me. Funny story about this. On my birthday workout I was doing this with a different exercise band however it broke when I came down on my 2nd rep which ended up whipping me in the chest/face. Huge red welts that thankfully went away before dinner and no black eye but was a bit worried....death by exercise band!"That's not sweat that's your fat cells crying" anonymous

I know it was crazy, I iced my face for a good hour that night and the welts came down but started at the corner of my eye, down my nose past the side of my mouth to my chest. Looked like a bright red line drawn in marker. Who knew!!
So a bit nervous even though I pretty much know the outcome but I go to the surgeon for the results of my MRI as well as get Xrays done on my knees..... time to face the piper I guess even though nothing will be done in the immediate future it is still really scary and crazy what is happening to me. I am only 36 for pete's sakes, do I ever get to feel healthy and painfree?"That's not sweat that's your fat cells crying" anonymous

I could use that hug....
I'm having a hard time not bawling at the moment, good and bad news I guess.
Good news: labrum is not torn and no obvious issues in the joint
Bad news: cartilage is compromised but not enough to warrant doing anything
which leaves me with...
suck it up princess until your xrays show significant arthritic issues. Learn to live with pain as that is going to be my companion for many years ahead. He is going to try a lubricant injection to see if that helps settle things down and I may have to back off and restart everything but at this point I don't know what to do. I hurts when I do nothing, it hurts when I exercise. My knees came clean on xray so "patella femoral" diagnosis stays and again suck it up princess.
As he put it so kindly "my body is a mess biomechanically" but there isn't a lot they can do at this point."That's not sweat that's your fat cells crying" anonymous

Oh no - my temptation is to say "oh well, at least it is good news in that you don't have anything wrong with you" but sometimes, I've found, having something confirmed as 'wrong' is more beneficial as it makes next steps clearer. Health challenges which remain undefined / vaguely defined seem the most problematic.
The next step I suppose is to focus on what you can do and what you can't (in terms of what might make things worse) and what you are willing to endure (pain wise) and not. With the support of resources on here and a good mind to research (which you have ), you will find your way.
I am sorry you are in pain - chronic pain is awful. Given my heridity and my early(ish) onset of some arthritis, I am interested in how diet/exercise interact with the management of chronic pain. I am about a chapter and a half into the following booK: "The End of Pain" by J. Lagace. I noticed some big changes in my joints and other pains when I started my first contest prep and really wanted to take a deeper look at how it was suggested some foods impact pain.
I'll let you know how the book is.
Prayers,

You understand it completely CC I was hoping for "this is what's exactly wrong and we can fix it" which would have sucked but gives you hope now it's going to be learning process again as I need to learn to modify instead of pushing along and pain be damned. I will set up appointments with my physio again to relate what is now been diagnosed and see if we can at least get the knees to settle down and find out activities he suggests for alternatives. Last time my knees really bugged me I just kept pushing through and they eventually settled down but it doesn't seem to be happening now and I wonder if my gait mechanics have changed drastically that I can't settle it down??
I've come out of my pity party but still feel a bit down but will focus on getting ready for Oct and see what plays out."That's not sweat that's your fat cells crying" anonymous

Was on FB last night and saw a video of our family friends sis-in-law learning to walk again with her prosthetic leg which put everything into perspective. Yes it sucks but there will always be someone out there with it much worse than I have so Suck it up Princess and move on
Strong Curves C - headache during workout and really wasn't motivated to do it but went down and did it anyways

Cable straight leg pull through: 25 x 12 x 3. Really focused on squeezing glute at top of motion

My sister from the mister. It does suck when they can't fix it even if the fixing would bring pain. Management is my new idea. How do I manage this and still do what I want. You can still make this work, I have total faith in you. Can I will listen to you cry anytime about it! Hoping we can see each other soon!

Hey Lotus, welcome to my journal. I just started SC a couple of weeks ago. So far I like it I've just added an upper body day as I don't think it is balanced enough to maintain and grow. I feel like I have started to notice some changes in my butt but could be just me being hopeful. LOL
Definitely we need to figure something out for a get together! Thanks for sharing your shoulder <3"That's not sweat that's your fat cells crying" anonymous

Picture posts - super busy weekend.
My baby turned 7. She is such an amazing little girl and I can't wait to see how she matures into a young women. We had a wedding on Saturday which was Lexi's bday, went hiking on Sunday to Johnsons Canyon up to the inkpots which is approx. 7 miles with a 5400ft elevation gain. Then today we went out and did a couple hours of quadding (4 wheeling for you yanks) it was a good trip to start getting my feet wet again as I haven't been out in almost 2 years due to my hip surgery.
