dont think you can say there is a "capital of the world" really, they are both pretty similar as they are both very large, an wealthy and betweeen them host a varst proportion of the worlds banking. however they dont compete, they both benefit each other and loads of bussiness' have huge offices in both cities,
i would however say that as new york is bigger and slightly more wealthy it is the "capital" even though i dont think there is one, im just answering your question

I've lived in NY and I can say reasonably that it's probably London. A lot of NYers wish they were from london.

Lol NY is a dirty shiit hole. People I know who have gone tell me how there is nothing but poor bums in NY, it is one big hole aside from a couple of clean parts. London actually STRIVES to keep its streets clean, and there are only a handful of shiity areas. And even those areas are better than what some would consider "respectable" in NY.

Lol @ people who talk about how much money the high rollers are pulling in as if it's an indication of anything. And how much of that money are you seeing to the improvement of your lifestyle and environment? London is clean, the people are generally easy to get along with, and you don't feel like you're going to get murdered when you're outside late at night.
