I go to college and was brought over at the age of 2 and I'm more "american" than some of the legal people who live in my area and more productive as well (lots of gangs here). My spanish sucks (srs). I can't just pick up and go to mexico with no place to live and on top of that seeing how bad things are in mexico I will easily get taken advantage of. I also pay taxes and pay for my own bills. I work at a conveniance store and I see hispanic overweight citizens who take advantage of lonestar (food stamps) on the daily to buy junk food and look like they haven't done shyt in their life other than work a dead end job and rely on the government for aid that better suits other legal and illegals who contribute to this country.

As an employer, it's always nice to be in a buyer's market where employees are desperate for work and have few options. That doesn't mean that Mexicans have magical powers of hard work and endurance. It just means that the average Mexican illegal is more motivated than the average American.

If you think that the average American worker should work 60 hours/week without overtime, cool. But it seems unfair to use immigration policy to force that outcome through the back door.

Also, the employer often doesn't bear the true cost of hiring illegals because illegal families are heavy users of the social safety net. The employer gets a $10/hr worker, who has 4 kids in public school, food stamps, Section 8, etc...

Price of produce to consumers would go down if the costs of production go down. Guess what, wages are a cost of production. Before you say, farmers can just form a cartel and keep the prices high while paying less wages to immigrants, such a phenomenon cannot exist for two reasons, the government and Bertrand competition.

Let's also not forget about the farmers that would have to go out of business because they won't be able to compete with large-scale farms that can afford to pay out higher wages and operate at price levels where they still come out with 0 economic profit.

OK I'm going to post before I really read the thread so I can get out exactly what I want to before this becomes a giant debate and my responses are tailored to the specific arguments.


First off the standard disclaimer- I have no problems with them as people. On a personal level they're like anyone else, some are chitheads and some are awesome. I've worked with enough of them to know that the majority are just chill dudes who work for what they have and just want a better life for their family. I respect that and I got along with all but one of them. They bust their ass and never complain.



Now that I've got that out of the way, they are still breaking the law by even being here. They are a drain on our system and when you really look at it they get all the benefits of it without any of the negatives like taxes or medical bills. Regardless of all the jokes about how they're not taking jobs from anyone because they do the jobs no one else wants too- they are. Look at the economy right now and the unemployment rate and if you don't think that there are ILLEGAL immigrants doing jobs that American born citizens would do in a heartbeat to put food on their family's table you're an idiot.

Take that same American citizen who just lost his long time job SOLELY because Obama made it a law that jobs provide insurance and his company couldn't afford to do it so they laid people off. Now on top of not having a job (which there would plenty more of if not for ILLEGALS) say he has a medical emergency. He goes to the ER and now he has these insane bills to pay because of it. Even if he qualifies for financial assistance he will have a chunk to pay. Meanwhile the ILLEGAL walks into the ER and gets his visit completely free cause there's no way to go after someone without a social security number (let alone ANY proof of actual identity). You also have to wonder if the fact that hospitals know they're going to treat x amount of ILLEGALS a year they factor it into how much they bill us. I obviously am not saying that ANYONE shouldn't have access to healthcare if they need it at under any circumstances but if the ILLEGAL either

A) Wasn't here ILLEGALLY or
B) Was here LEGALLY and had proper ID and responsibility to pay his bill

there wouldn't be an issue. Add to that the fact that since they pay no taxes we again are left to flip the bill for them.



Now you get to the true identity of these people. You have NO IDEA what they did back home. There's no way to know whether they're just here to support their family or if they killed people back home and fled here. Can you tell a ****phile/murderer/etc from a normal person most of the time?

Then we have instances of Ranchers having their property and cattle destroyed and even some ranchers that have been killed by crossing ILLEGALS and we have idiots who will defend the ILLEGAL'S "rights" over the citizen's!! WTF?!!!!


The whole deal in Arizona with the sheriff making it mandatory to check paperwork on suspected ILLEGALS is necessary. Yes it is fukked up and profiling to those who just happen to be latino and I understand that it must be infuriating but it's for good reason. Don't be mad at the cop just making sure you're not an escaped Mexican convict that fled here, be mad that people of your ethnicity are creating a situation where we even have to worry about it. If the ILLEGALS happened to look like me, as annoying as it would be, I would understand it had to be done.


This country is absolutely retarded at the moment about everything so I don't know why I'm surprised it is about immigration. All I know is that if you're an ILLEGAL than all you have to do is come here and squirt out a kid and like a runner sliding into home plate you're saaaaafe! Bam you're technically allowed to stay here now while still requiring no background check or social security. You and your family will take jobs, free medical, and on top of that all kinds of grants you never have to pay back simply for having a tan. Then on top of that while you're kid is going to school on our dime you'll bitch and moan that WE need to learn spanish cause you refuse to learn English in AMERICA. Your kid will make it through school whether they earn it or not because no teacher wants to take a chance being labeled "racist" and then when it comes time for college you'll say "ahem, I have a tan" (probably in spanish) and the college will be paid for. Then the kid will settle in and may join his other ILLEGALS and start burning the flag in the middle of the campus and chanting "Mexico!!" while he laughs that he's chitting on the country that gave him more than it's own citizen's get. (obviously not the majority of cases but it's happened and it's fukked up)


Notice that ILLEGAL was always in caps because people seem to forget that in the eyes of the law they are CRIMINALS for simply putting a toe on our soil. Even the nicest family is still breaking the law by simply standing here. If you think that this is just a "minor law" , other than being blind, think about the money they are stealing by not paying taxes or medical bills that WE HAVE TO!


Also just a heads up- Bank of America for a fact (others probably too) will give ILLEGALS bank accounts without requiring a social security number. How is that even legal?
