You need a good rack, a bench, and a 300-lb Olympic weight set. Now, what was your question?

Price seems to be a bit steep to me
CropDusterMan got a full set of older International plates minus the 25s which the owner felt bad about so he threw in Ivanko Deep Dish 25s all for $225.

Jackson 50s & Hundos
All our iron we have Is vintage york but Earlier this year I can across some smaller jackson plates & was amazed at the weight accuracy, the quality and detail. There is something very special about the iron made by Andy Jackson I would like to learn more about the history. I have been looking to find some of the deep dish 45s as they are the nicest plates I have ever seen. I did not find the deep dish 45s Just yet but this weekend set out on a road trip and was very happy to get 4 pairs of these really nice 50lb & and this amazing pair of Jackson 100s. All these weights will all be put to good use for many years to come. The quality of these plates are fantastic & I am very honored to have these plates after they were used in a fantastic private gym for many years.

I found the mother-load of Deep Dish plates!
So, I went to an equipment wholesale guy an hour from me and although a rag-tag operation...They had an insane amount of vintage deep dish plates, probably upwards of 1500! I brought home 4 American Olympian 45's with a killer patina...not rust. Here are a few images...will post images in a bit...

Deep Dish Central!
Ok fellas, so here are a few images of Deep Dish Central...I brought home four "American Olympian 45LB" made in USA plates (top photo)...absolutely awesone...and they had a crap load of them,
at least 150...
Someone educate me...What are "non-branded IVANKO's" that one member mentioned as his wish-list? There must have been 500 Inanko 45's, dozens of "Pacific's" and even some "Ben's"
and loads of "Internationals" and "Standard Barbells".
Is the one nice 45 with nothing else on it a "non-Branded Ivanko" ??
When I left the place, I had moved hundreds and hundreds of plates (my hands are killing me!) in search of the holy grail "York's"....sadly, non to be had! Can someone forward the thread so
everyone can see the images?...Thanks.
Best,
JasonLast edited by CropDusterMan; 05-29-2014 at 03:18 PM.

Do any of you know much about the history of the "American Olympian" plates I bought?...I can't seem to find a shred of info on them
as far as when they were made etc...all I can say is that they are among the best looking plates I've seen-very well machined/casted etc.
Love that they are USA made.

There was some discussion in this thread and others. I think they were made in the AB&I foundry in Oakland, California. The company still exists but I don't think they make plates anymore. I don't know the age of their deep dish plates. AB&I also used to make plates for Cybex but they were a different style. The cybex plates were double sided.
Can you post a close up photo of the back of these plates? I'd like to see the casting quality of the backs. I'd appreciate it.[]---[] Ivanko Barbell Crew #32 []---[] ()---() York Barbell Club #43 ()---() ▉---▉ Equipment Crew #50 ▉---▉

wonder if anyone knows what this weird standard plate is? if its special? no markings, not sure of weight but may be 25 pounds.
there are 2 smaller plates similar style but without the large hub sticking out
neat dp 44's
there are 2.
weider Olympic 50
one has the raised edge on both sides, but one has a flat back with a "B" sticking out
