    DC's Keto Log

    I was doing well a couple of months ago but stopped when I put other things in front of my health. Time to get rid of the extra fat and reach my health goals. I will be weighing daily as much as I can because I fid it keeps me on track. I lift and do cardio but I know my diet is holding me back. Trying to see what I can accomplish by the end of the year.

    Lifted yesterday and then spent half the day at the DMV so I didn't get to the store. I am going this afternoon.

    Gong to be honest in this blog. No excuses. Didn't get a great start so tomorrrow's weight may be higher than my sw.

    Didn't dust it off too well

    I am back on keto. I had tons of stuff that kept me out of the gym and I was foolish and let my diet go as well. This past 2 and a half weeks I have been back at the gym and keto for the past couple of days. Will post my weight tomorrow for the contest that I'm in.

    Definitely agree. I just came on here to post how I got through the holiday weekend by looking up menus ahead of time and planning. It resulted in me losing weight instead of just maintaining or gaining.

    Question

    Question for anyone who may be reading. I am female and have a long way to go, is it bad to wait longer than 2 weeks for a carb up, assuming my energy levels are good? Thanks

    I've read a few people go 3-4wks, the only thing you have to worry about is longterm leptin suppression from both calorie deficit and lack of carbs. I have heard various things though so read up and make a desicion with what works best for you.

    Thanks. Ill look for more info but I don't think it would be conducive for me to push it past the 3-4 week timeframe.

    I schedule my workouts Sat - Fri. All my major workouts are done. I may go for some cardio tomorrow. Very proud that last night I lifted the heaviest that I ever have. I'm feeling good and staying on track with this. Everything finally clicked.

    Thur - kickboxing


    Small victories. Skipped the weekly Friday pizza lunch outing. Have been all month. Planning what to eat at happy hour tonight (either green sales and grilled shrimp or grilled chicken skewers (no sauce). Absolutely no alcohol though.
