This thread serves as a reminder of the stupid trolling that goes on here against the paleo diet, which a lot of people here use and benefit from, but do not discuss because they could not be bothered to deal with the chit they get from idiots who don't want to hear anything but their own voice. I can only hope someone gets a few laughs from it.

You are like Tim Ferris (a lot less successful), trying to cultivate a blind following, by publishing 'hack' articles based on just enough science to satisfy a harried layman, and selected studies (a study can be found to support any kind of hypothesis, and who reads them anyway?) and a complete disregard for contradictory points of view.

I'm interested to know, how do you go without a condom, assuming of course you were not planning on multiplying?

As stated earlier, the rhythm method is excellent, and is actually very effective if used properly. The only downside is that you really cant have sex that often, but I'd rather not have sex than put something unnatural on my genitals or pump my girlfriend full of hormones for birth control. I wouldn't eat a burger that has been pumped full of hormones, so I definitely wouldn't **** one.

Yeah those types... LoL. Protein produces a large insulin response... and dietary fat can be stored in fat cells 100% effeciently without insulin when eaten in a surplus via glut-4 transport.

I've met an obese super strict vegan also. Any diet that doesn't have one track calories as the primary method of weight control can produce 300-400 lbs obese individuals even when followed strictly, assuming it isn't too finacially expensive for them to consume the intake.

Your lipid profile in general will improve when losing weight. Boosting HDL however usually works best if you get a decent amount of fat in your diet and some n-3s. There are methods of boosting it that cannot be discussed here of course.
