lol not sure what you meant by the abs throw me off?
yeah i think id be around there, ive done some measurements using the gym electronic ground scale and it says 12% one time and 17% the other
ive also used the omron body fat tester (the one you hold w/ bth hands and I heard its quite accurate) and it keeps giving me 8-9%. my only explanation for this was perhaps i have less fat on my upper body and most of my fat is located on the lower body.
What do tou think?

Thank you so much for your estimate!
And I'm pretty sure I want to cut since I don't want my belly getting any bigger. This makes sense right?

Hi everyone, so basically over the last 9 months I have lost around 80 lbs since my ex dumped me, was the motivation I needed to get my body back in shape. Was wondering if you guys could give me a bf estimate please. My orion caliper puts me at around 11.5 percent but I feel as if I am more at 14 or 15. I will post flexed and un flexed, this is late at night and after I just ate if that means anything.. Thanks again!
By the way my stats are 5'9 175

Sounds about right. And about the abs: i just meant you have the low body fat around the abs, but don't have the 'incredibly' visible muscle showing through, so the number could fluctuate.
I would say its between what you think and what the calipers say. My guess would be 13%, but between 13-14.
My guess would be around 19-20%. And in my opinion, you should cut (like you said). Cut until you get to a comfortable BF %, and then just maintain or lean muscle bulk.RepRepRep

Thank You for this thread. I am 6' @ 210lbs, 33.5" waist, 42" chest, 15.5" biceps flexed, 13" forearm, 21.5" thighs, 14.5" calves. I couldn't get my front pic uploaded for some reason. Do you think I should continue cutting (currently cutting for 5 months and down 40lbs) or bulk now? Thank You for your input.Last edited by matthewlacasse; 12-27-2012 at 09:39 PM. Reason: Add Pic
