A guess at my old BF% would be nice and what it is now

Hi everyone!
I'm new to this site and forum, as well as fairly new to healthy eating and exercise. I was active in high school, had dance lessons 5x a week, and would go to the gym 3-4X a week, but didn't watch what I ate. I was tight and muscular in my legs and arms, but my mid-section was always the same. Once I started college and work, I didn't have time to work out, coupled with poor diet, I was up to 150 at my heaviest.
I have been eating in the 1200-1300 cal range (minimal carbs) for the last 5 months, and sparsely exercising (but no lifting). I am 5'5 and have lost about 20 lbs and am at 130 as of this morning. I tried measuring my BF and got around 24-30% (I used calipers, and am uncertain how accurate I was). I am ready to start lifting and working on building lean muscle, but am not sure where to begin. I don't know quite what my ideal body will be, but I am certain it includes more muscle and definition. Am I at a good point to start lifting and eating above maintenance, should I lose some more BF before I slow bulk, should I be lifting even if I should still be losing BF? So many questions...
Using Emma-Leigh's calculations, I calculated my maintenance requirement to be about 1700 cal/day (given that I haven't been exercising, and I have a sedentary job+school). My macro goals are 130g of protein, around 65g of fat, and the rest carbs.
Please be as honest as you need to be - I am ready to work!

Hello everyone,
I've been lurking on this site for a few months and decided to make a post. I'm 22 and in college. I played football in high school and was about 6'1 200 pounds. I had a fair amount of muscle but also a decent amount of fat. After I graduated, I lost about 20 pounds to get down to 180, losing alot of fat but also muscle (did alot of cardio without much weight training) Now I weight train about three days a week regularly and do cardio a few times a week but I'm looking to lose that last bit of baby fat and get down in the 10% range. I feel like I have a decent amount of LBM at the moment but Id estimate my bf at about 15%
what do you guys think?

cant figure out my body fat%
Ok so every place I go gives me a different body fat percent between 9%and19% lol and I only do body measurements ATM I'm 5 foot 8 and 118plbs...I'm a female..um I have games 4plbs in the last month of weight training and I know at least half is prolly from fat..I want to get to 120 but I want it in muscle and I eat between 1200 and 1400 daily with 120 grams of protein...shakes eggs chicken etc..anyhow weight training 3 days a week something isn't right I want to lose body fat. Measurements are 31 Dorchester 24 for waist 31 for hips 34 for butt 18 for thighs( problem area) 12 for calves 9.5 for biggest upper arms 8 for foreamrs 6 for wrists 11 for neck...would appreciate your input thank you

I was going to say something lower, like 15-17%, but you have a bit of a gut, which makes me think ~18-20%. I could be off, though.
In any event, you should bulk. There's a stick w/ video on the home page on why people who are skinny fat should bulk. You're the perfect candidate. Especially if your lower body is built similarly.

Hey I posted a couple pics on my profile, I lost over 60 pounds within about a year. And now I am building muscle and gettting stronger. My question is , is this sagging skin or fat I have? Will it go away.. like if I was to reach 10% body fat for example. What do you think my current body fat is based on those pics too. Any idea what % i'm at? Around 174-180 lbs in the pics.
Navy Method puts me around 16%.
Jackson Pollock 3 Point says I'm around 11%.

Second pic has pretty bad lighting and I'm pasty so it washes out a lot of definition.
