^ Wow very nice set-up, ... , what kind of bench is that? Looks great with the platform! Is this the equipment you picked up recently at the close-out?
Youve got the perfect set-up, everything you need right there!
The bench is a Pro-Elite who actually makes all of the equipment for BFS so it would be the bench that would have come with it if I needed one. Yeah, this is all from that sale. I already had the weights, bench and powerblocks.
edit: I believe Pro-Elite makes equipment for a couple other companies as well. Bombproof is one of them I think.
Thats a fantastic setup. Every piece right down to the hooks looks so well built. Congrats.
Thanks, It is definitely built to last.

I've always had a soft spot for half-racks, and with 7-gauge steel, it's probably sturdier than many standard cages.
Thanks, I don't know how much they weight but believe it or not I loaded them all into the basement by myself through the right side of that window in the pic. The Lat machine was the hardest because it is all one welded unit except for the seat, roller pads and low row attachment. The rack itself is just the two sides which are quite heavy then the pull up bar and the lower crossmember. The platform is 5 frame pieces and of course all the mats that fit inside. The GHD was easy, I just removed the foot unit and the front pad. Extremely sturdy rack especially with the platform attached as well.
I have a Pro-Elite bench press with spotter platform and a preacher curl. I got it about a year ago on CL. You're right they make awesome sturdy stuff. Congrats on the new equipment, looks great.
I posted this in the Equipment Crew thread but now that I have it all in hand and set up I figured this would be a more appropriate thread. BFS was having a warehouse sale and yesterday I picked up these three pieces and some accessories for $1500. Half rack with platform, lat machine with low row, GHD, 3 lat machine attachments, and 3 med balls (2,4,6lbs). I haven't had a workout yet but after playing around I know I will be very happy with this setup.
I really like the half rack w/ platform, and incidentally I recognized the logo on it from a high school in my general region. Looks like it may have been made for Siloam Springs, AR? I suppose other schools could use that logo as well though. What is the platform itself made from? It doesn't look like hardwood.

I have a Pro-Elite selectorized lat-low row from BFS. They make great stuff at great prices (when on sale). BFS has sales that are 20% off and free shipping.

There are a few layers. The first is a layer of 3/4" rubber over the whole area. The sides that are black have another layer of 3/4" rubber and the center has a second layer of 1/2" rubber topped with a 1/4" piece of material that is almost like a dense vinyl. The side with that logo is very slick so since the photo I have flipped it over to expose a much rougher surface that will be more conducive to safely lifting heavy. It's funny I never bothered to ask whose logo that was. A lot of high schools will adopt the logos of other pro or college teams so who knows who it could have been originally made for.
Just picked up a Hammer Strength Combo Incline for 150 bucks today! Thing is in killer condition too. Had to drive 3 hours each way but I dont give a sh!t, the drive sucked but Im glad its here now!

Just got back from Columbus Ohio, with my latest find. It's a Magnum Fitness 400 squat machine in great shape, and cost was only $78. Now to decide what to move out to make room for it.
