That crossover is sweet. What's the weight per stack? They look substantial. I'm dying to know what paid.

I picked up this TuffStuff leg ext/leg curl with the weight stack. It replaced my Parabody plate loaded leg ext/ leg curl bench. This piece has a nice strength curve on each exercise through the entire ROM, unlike the Paramount seated leg curl I sold awhile back that didn't, it was easy until the very last part. Another plus is that my wife likes it.
Now OK for Sig line to be a novel

I picked up some standard and Olympic weights today. The pickup included some crap dumbbells and these Ironmasters. The Ironmaster dumbbells are the old style. The plates are 2-1/2 lbs each and there are 5 on each side. Each dumbbell weighs 32.5 lbs. On a per pound basis I paid $21 for the Ironmasters.
I like the way the Ironmaster Dumbbells work and feel. Really loving the 32 mm handles. Too bad they are so light. Anyone know where I can pick up some 5 lb old-style Ironmaster plates? Or maybe a weight kit?

I bought this steel crosby anchor shackle for $12. Lol fits over my head so I can do squats or something stupid with it :P. Anyone wanna guess how much they weigh without researching first?
Hint: Diameter is 2 1/2"
Another hint in attachment next to a 45lb dumbbell

Ordered a Rep Fitness 24kg Kettlebell. I was crossing my figures after seeing the terrible packaging job...and sure enough, big gouge right in the front. The second photo is actually parts of the packaging wedged in the gouge. So 23.9kg kettlebell now?

That's a terrible looking hole. Can you see what's inside? (I've been wondering what they're filled with.)
I hope you can get some kind of refund or exchange. If not, maybe clean it up as much as you can and then fill the hole with JB-Weld? If you sand it smooth and paint over it, you might not be able to tell.▪█─────█▪ Equipment Crew #35

Check this out...
(Thanks to keyboardworkout for finding that video.)
I think that the cast iron ones are solid.
For competition bells, I think it's likely that the VF Precision Kettlebells are more solid than any of the others. The one I own sort of rings like a bell when you tap on it. So, they're not exactly solid, but they're also not filled with various types of refuse.Last edited by KBKB; 10-24-2014 at 12:45 PM.

Not sure which kettlebells you're referring to, but I would guess that most of the competition style bells are pretty close to their specified weight. As the name would suggest, many of them are actually used for competitive purposes. I would guess that they weigh them prior to competition.

dukenukem77 is one of the owners of rep fitness and he posts on here sometimes. I would definetely not be OK with that damage. I've been up there a few times and they seem like really straight up guys. I'm sure they'll get you sorted out. Keep us posted on what they say. My wife was just telling me a few days ago she is ready for a few heavier bells so I'm interested in seeing what they're customer service is like with a damaged item.
