I love the fact that its now the Ogre Compound or Ogre Training Facilities.
One day Reactive Wave will be synonomous with Ogre in the same way Westside = Conjugate.

Julia actually started that. I need to go see how she actually has it inputted in to ********. She will post herself doing something at the Ogre Compound.
I don't know about the RWM ever being well known. It's only actually part of the method and only named because SHR Carl made me.
People are seeing results and I need to buckle down and write it all out. Then maybe I can have an e-book, too.,..

Worked on openers today and it turned out to be a Disappointing day after a really great week of lifting for me. Probably my best week minus today. I was out of gas today, which is unfortunate. This is the day that means the most to me because I suck at pulling. I killed legs on Tuesday and it came back to haunt me today i think. Really no excuses. I'm not strong enough on deads to work through an off day.

You were out of gas, nothing more. I should have put the brakes on after the opener. What you aren't mentioning is the IT Band issue...newborn, Christmas and after the great week, I'm not going to allow you to beat yourself up. I made the mistake of letting it go after the opener, especially with the way the week has been.
So, you pulled the opener, it's solid, we will regroup till the meet and you'll pr there.
I'll ask again, what is your meet pr?

Matt is a great example. The first time he pulled 400, it never left the floor. Then he broke it from the floor, and today, after a pr front squat, a pr trap pull, he pulls 405 to the knees twice, we load 400 and he pulls it.
I remember when you looked at me like I was crazy when I'd have you do the same thing...
today was only another session and given all that has been going on, I feel good about everything.

For as worn out as I felt I had an excellent day. 365 left me feeling like I def had more in the tank. Coach shut me down and am glad he did. Been worn out lately and having a coach like wade is a great asset. I would have gone up till I failed and been pissed. Lol. Still got several weeks before the meet so there is room to get stronger before then.

read my quote, BRA...
"Never tell me what you won't do, show me that you can't"-said by, ME
I'll go further. Failure, like Friday, is not the worst thing. Failure with little to no effort is pathetic. If you can't, then you have a team of people and a coach that will help you get on the pathway so you have the opportunity to achieve your goal and if nothing else, get a step closer. If you can't, then it is incumbent on me as your coach to see to it that you will and that you can.Squat: 1,040

It clearly has more impact live with the color metaphors and impassioned expletives...

1-1-13
Warmed up and did this:
Squat:
55x6x2
105x6
145x6
195x3
235x2
285x2
325x1
375x1
Add wraps to test for openers
425x1
470x1
Close stance squats:
235x6x3
Wide stance sumo squats:
105x10x2
Reverse hyper:
100x12x2
310x10x2
Calves:
12x3
Weighted abs
Done.
Coach had me in wraps for the first time today and I think it went pretty good. I just have to get used to the wraps which I don't think will be an issue. We are in meet mode now so I will have time to do so. 470 felt great and was a 5 pound pr for me. I felt like yesterday after bench, that there is more in the tank for a bigger squat. Ill let coach call the numbers and make the decisions. I went a bit too hard on squats last week so it was good that he tempered me today. I'm a go to till I fail kinda guy, not the smartest way to be I reckon.
Happy new year Charlie Brown.

The only issues were the set up with the wraps. Threw your groove off. A few sessions and that'll fix. Keep thinking and visualizing 500. Then, May, no less than 520.

Tested negative for flu and strep. Just a cold. A $hitty one.
Opener was ok. Feeling sorry for myself on this quest for a mighty deadlift. Felt like we were turning the corner. Now everything seems off, but I'm sick and bein a pussy right now so ill find fault in anything.LolLast edited by WhiteKimbo; 01-04-2013 at 08:37 AM.
