Frankie got robbed. He won that fight if barely. To bad. I cannot say I happen to be a fan of Frankie but the fact remains...the man is 5'6 fighting in the 155 lb devision. Siver has done it at 5'7 but not gone to long as far as I know. Edgar IMO won that fight and I honestly think Bendo thought so too. I think he was doing some extra-hamming it up after the fight and before the decision and was surprised as Edgar he won.

For me it was a combination of him air punching his way to the title (not saying he didn't deserve the decisions, it just seemed obvious that's what he was trying to do), and then bitching about losing the title to Henderson, especially with his face all fugged up.
If he wants to be the undisputed champ he should probably try hurting people with his combinations from time to time

When two fighters are doing nothing the entire fight but landing pitter shots on each other, you got to go with the guy who landed more pitter shots...idk where the **** they got those control time stats from....i guess while frnakie was getting guillotined or successfully doing nothing on the ground...]

In two fights he dropped Bendo twice. He KO'd Gray. I mean, it's 155 lb's here, not 205. It's not like he's not landing punches.

like i said, i dont really care about either of the fighters....but rnd 2 is the only round that he did anything noteworthy and should have been guaranteed by the judges, when he gets out pitter tapped in the rest of the rounds he shouldn't complain about judges seeing it differently.

IMO the "droppings" of Henderson weren't all that dramatic, and while I enjoyed his KO of gray maynard, that is one fight since 2009 that he actually put an exclamation mark on.

I get they are small, but we see 125ers ko'ing each other so I don't really buy that

To say he's not finishing guys is fine. To say he's not trying...how do you know? It's pretty obvious that the guy just doesn't have a ton of power. I don't think it's gonna benefit him to put the Leben rush on every punch.

Ok then maybe he doesn't deserve to be champ then...im not all that vested in how people feel about either fighter, I'm just saying if two guys are hitting each other with non-finishing shots, dont be pissed when you lose for landing less of those shots

It's kind of weird to think of Nate Diaz as a favorite, but Bendo's gonna have to UD his ass off to get that win.

I like Benson Henderson a lot but I think he slightly lost the fight. It was an extremely tough fight to judge though and could have gone any way.

Not sure why people are bitching about decision fights in light weight. It's a tough, stacked division. I see people bitching on sherdog about Bendo's decision, but people act like it's hard to finish Pettis, Cowboy, Edgar, etc.

I agree, before last night I was favoring Bendo if he were to fight Diaz, but now i'm not so sure. He has a bad knack of getting caught in submissions, and if he does that against Diaz, he'll be in huge trouble. Diaz has the striking advantage as well.

Agreed, wrestle****ing will be imminent. He's got to be really careful though, because he always gets caught in deep subs but somehow manages to get out of them. Against Diaz, that would likely not work.

If not in technical skill, in punishment threshold and dominating the center of the cage. Nate is gonna come forward at all times, so it's either move in and out, or get picked apart on the feet. Bendo is not in a position to KO Nate on his best day, so that's that.

You know what they say, in order to beat the champ you have to BEAT the champ, and even though Frankie did better this fight he didn't exactly go in there and make much of a statement. I had him edging Edgar though. I like ben, but he has his hands full with Nate. Wouldn't be surprised if Nate comes in as the favorite.
