    Question Eggs: Good or Bad?

    I know that they're an excellent source of protein, but what about the cholesterol? I'm fairly young, so I don't have any major health problems. I don't think about cholesterol and stuff like that, but when someone told me it affects my blood pressure and could affect my building, I had to look it up. There are some mixed messages on the interweb, so does anyone have any information that could help me?

    Fyi, I eat about 7-10 eggs a day.

    Hmm, I used to eat about 8 or 12 eggs a day if I remember right. However, I stopped doing that. I'm not quite too sure if eating 7-10 a day is great for you. It might actually be a bit too much of one thing. Like you said, the cholesterol in the eggs.

    I'm down to having the occasional 3 to 4 in a day. I don't have them every day now too.

    There is cholesterol, but it is good cholesterol. I eat 6 eggs a day. yolks and all. good fat son.

    There is no direct relationship between cholesterol you eat and the cholesterol found in your blood which has a vague relationship with the risk of CHD.

    If you are lean and active, eat your eggs - and all other non synthetic sources of fats saturated and unsaturated.
