    Hiit

    In regards to a HIIT cardio session, would it be beneficial to do it after lifting? During contest prep on my two off days from lifting i do HIIT, but speaking in terms of off season, lifting 6days a week & wanting to keep my one off day completely off. Thanks (;

    I couldn't imagine doing HIIT before weightlifting.

    Depends on what your routine is, but I'd be spent to do weights after.
    the latest and greatest in training...or whatever.

    I completely agree. I just like HIIT better than standard cardioso i'm trying to figure out how to properly incorporate it 2x per week

    I lift in the mornings and do HIIT in the late afternoons.

    You can do HIIT after workouts and on off days, but make sure you still rest enough. Maybe it's better if you don't do HIIT after a high intensity leg workout, because HIIT is quite taxing for the leg muscles.
