The thread has nothing to do with Bane.
The topic is 'Anyone tried PNut's "Warrior Workout," used by Tom Hardy for the film' and the fairy that is me popped up and shouted 'YES I HAVE, not necessarily the 'warrior workout' bollox but i have applied the approach to bodyweight resistance because of x y & z and it worked for what i wanted it to, not what any body else expects to past their test'
....and then BAAAAAANG! A hopefully entertaining thread that can be enjoyed by all. Bonsoir, alvederzane, gazuntite, be good & farewell.Last edited by SPJMusic; 05-24-2014 at 04:32 PM.

I refer to my self as a fairy as i dont mind taking the piss out of myself and i dont mind having the piss taken out of me. Are you a closet case? No funny as it sounds i am not, but i have been suspected of it before my balls dropped.
Sorry Jason im finding it so hard not to reply. I guess i lied about being bored. I am very surprised you havent negged me yet.

So the guy who looks like an actual athlete is being told the method he used cannot possibly work even though he documented it in real time and looks the ****.

Yea I don't understand why everyone is ripping this guy either. Are you accusing him of lying and actually lifting weights secretly because his body is decent? Or are you saying his body sucks and that's likely because his plan sucks?
Cuz frankly, his body looks more athletic than some of the guys bashing him. Doesn't look like he could throw a ton of weight but id rather have a guy who looks like that on my soccer or basketball team than big ol' muscular tubs. That Jason guy is kind of an arse.

Hi all,
Christ!! a lot of hostility on this thread!!! But wanted to mention my success with the tom Hardy Warrior Workout. I have ben training for many years (10+), and ahd some okay success with bodybuilding. Like most people I've tried a lot of workouts, but mainly stick to the basic lifts etc.
After breaking up with my wife and getting divorced I booked a holiday to Portugal, by myself (At this point I had also just started seeing another woman). I was away in Portugal for just over 2 weeks. It had been a hard couple of years, but the gym kept me sane. Anyway, around a month before going away I saw Warrior and like most fitness fanatics I googled his workout. A acouple of weeks before going away I started the workout. now I had been training consistently for around 2-3 years at the gym and had got fairly fit (better than average), but not huge. 6ft tall at around 190lbs at 10% bodyfat. But the Warrior workout f*****g killed me!!!. I could only manage it twice a day every other day for the first week, I upped it to 3 times a day every other day the 2nd week then went to Portgual. Whilst away I upped the workout again to 4 times a day, every other day. I ate 4-5 big meals a day, swam for 20 mins every morning and walked miles every day. I also got around 12-14 hours sleep every night!
After around 15 days away doing this workout I came back looking and feeling amazing! I have to say I was in the best shape in my life and my traps, delts and arms were bigger than they have every been. My new Girlfriend was stunned! She loved it lol.
I tried working out like this while back but with work and not being able to get enough sleep (7 hours a night on average), it was just impossible to have the energy to go on.
My muscle went down after a few months - even though I was training at the gym 3 days a week on heavy compound lifts. i wish I could have continued this workout, but it's not easy! in fact it's a killer both physically and mentally. I dreaded every workout, and 4 times a day was so hard to keep motivated to do!!
Before doing this I would have said that bodyweight training isn't that good for building mass - but I have to say it got me the best physique I've had (before that or since), and I only did it for a month or so (plus proper nutrition and sleep - the key in my opinion!).
I went back to the weights after that, but have recently gone back to this workout (slightly altered to include pullups and using a dip station). Although I wish I could get that sleep every night!

Mate, I've been on these forums a long time and I've seen a lot of deserved hostility to a lot of posters. But I can't see anything in here that warranted the response to you. Some of the replies were totally dickish and completely unnecessary. The fact that you've actually continually posted progress pics, have made considerable progress in a short time frame and posted what you have been doing deserves respect. The reality is that there are many ways to skin a cat and whilst this isn't my choice, you've obviously put the effort in and it's worked for you. Well done.
Unfortunately the BB community is notoriously dogmatic and set in its ways. Often, unless you subscribe to someone's narrow-mindedness, you'll get flamed to hell. Just ignore it.If they can make penicillin out of mouldy bread, maybe they can do something with you.

Honestly man I agree with you. I didnt do any SS formation when starting to lift and it served me well. Sure SS is a great way to go, but it is not the only way. Seems like people forgot that other people enjoy different stuff. I only like this site for the sports forums, anything else just seems to hate filled.

Looks like you ran into are resident USMC PLSGT Jason, don't know Jason all that well, but from what I have seen he is a no BS kind of guy. If those results where from the Tom Hardy whatever program than great, otherwise I kind of agree with Jason on this one, kind of smells like BS.
