Went out after last night and had blast. Drank 2 beer and ate a lamb/pork burger with feta and tzatziki sauce. It was yummy! Got a ride home with one of the girls from work and met Stephen at a friend's house for pool and hanging out. Got home around 12:00 and I'm not hungover today Diet will be followed for sure from now until next Saturday, at least. It's my birthday next weekend So I'm planning on going out to eat but it will be healthy and I'm sure there'll be some cake. I'm not in a hurry so it's cool Oh, probably a dehydrated weight but weighed in at 127.8lbs this morning :/ If that sticks I might be questioning this diet, lol!!!
Going for a hike this afternoon and lifting weights as well It'll be chest and something day. Just did triceps and shoulders + abs the other day (still need to post that one...Might have time tomorrow) and then tomorrow or Monday will be back and Biceps day with legs on Tuesday. Hiking tomorrow as well. Maybe today will be chest and light shoulders. You can never do enough shoulders.
Happy Saturday!!!Team Cookies Give You Superpowers

So still keeping up on the workouts and diet. Being trained by someone makes it hard to journal, lol, I used to in the mornings because I get in early but I'm in that inbetween stage now where I gave up my desk and my office is not mine yet either. I think the woman who's training me on gets in in about 15 minutesand I'm on her computer so I don't think I'll have time to type up my workouts this week. But I did upper yesterday, chest on Sunday, and I'm planning legs for today.
Tomorrow is my 29th birthday so I won't be lifting tomorrow. I'm thinking of either switching to full body or an upper/lower split since I'm dieting and kind of low on energy. 3 full body workouts would be nice. I did upper yesterday because I missed a few days of lifting and I wanted to get more in than 2 body parts. I was planning on full body but was pressed for time so I left out legs.
Anyway, I'll be back to logging my workouts next week. The laptop we have at home sucks but maybe I'll type them up later. Going shopping for a nice rain jacket for my birthday after work so I can go for walks at lunch even in the rain Need some nice waterproof pants too. I have boots. Anyway, depends on what time I get home.
I have to go check on a few things since my computer time is limited during the day.
HAPPY TUESDAY!Last edited by gobbles23; 04-14-2015 at 03:53 AM.

So I pretty much had to say screw the diet and up cals to at least 1700-1800. I need my brain. I was sitting here for the first two days of the week trying to concentrate on learning when all I could think about was how hungry I am. I don't have time for that. 1700-1800 works better right now, especially because my goal is to lose like, 4lbs by August Weight stuck in the 127's/128's.
Not really paying attention to much. Still walking at lunch, going to lift tonight but have no idea what I'll do, and not sure of any weekend plans or anything. I feel like by the time I go home my brain is too full. And I get zero computer time during the day now to plan things. So whatever. Should be able to post a workout or two tomorrow mornin I'll try to catch up with you guys soon.

Thanks Are we talking cake or cake here, lol!
Chocolate cake tomorrow along with chicken dinner...yum
YAY!
Yeah, you kind of do, lol! I thought it would be stupid to take on both things at once but I also decided I could always try and change my mind if I needed to And I did, lol!! But it's cool, I'm sure in a few weeks I'll feel more comfortable with my new tasks and it will be more like clockwork. This position requires soooooo much responsibility!

So this week has been pretty crazy! New job is great. Interesting, but lots of responsibility. Like, if you can't pay your mortgage I send out demand letters and serve them to people and if they don't respond within the time frame I get appraisals on their property or houses and list them in the paper and people send in bids and I accept or reject them based on calculations. As well as pay bills and issue bills and bill my time and it's intense. Lots of learning processes and legal stuff.
I've been really enjoying the snow melting and all the trails opening up where I walk at lunch. I've been running up hills and sprinting around fields all week, lol!!! I only did like, 2 workouts this week though. I've been so exhausted lately. I think it's because I've been killing myself in the gym for a while now trying to hit PR's constantly and trying so hard with the pull-ups and weighted dips and everything else and my body just feels spent.
I need to learn how to incorporate some periodization! Throw in a lighter week here and there with less volume, so that was the plan for last week. Hoping to get back on track next week but I feel so unmotivated when it comes to lifting lately. I need to start following a plan or something. Flopping around in the gym is fun and all but I have no focus.
Went for an amazing hike this morning for two hours in our favourite spot we couldn't get to all winter and it was just fantastic.
Tonight we're hanging out like we were last night. I had a few drinks on my birthday and last night and I'm feeling so hungover. I get hungover off nothing these days! I had like, a glass of champagne on Wednesday and two light beer last night. Oh well
Anyway, tomorrow I'm going to look into some lifting routines and try to find something that makes me excited. I'm going to start logging them next week as well. That's probably half my issue, lol! This journal keeps me on my toes and I miss it when I don't log my workouts. More hiking tomorrow before the chicken and cake so I'm going to try for a workout then too to make the food count. Hahaha! Anyway, Happy Saturday!Last edited by gobbles23; 04-18-2015 at 01:25 PM.

Saw pics and first reaction was whyyyy am I looking at SNOW again?! Heehee, those are beautiful though! Glad the new gig is going well. Would legit be using a fake name when talking to those people or sending letters, would be afraid crazy angry people who are on hard times would want to chainsaw my head off or something. Stay safe.

Nice pics, my dear. You look almost invisible in the second picture because of your jacket (plus you're so small).
Have you ever thought of doing a 'body weight only' routine for a while?

Hahaha! There was snow there because it was right next to the ocean and there was an icy breeze. In the woods there wasn't so much, lol! I looked at it and thought it was kind of contradicting since I just said "yay all the snow is gone' and then posted a snowy pic
lol!!!! It's ok, the bank is our client and we contact people for them, so it's their fault
Thanks It's a big place!
Yes, I have thought about it actually. I was reading a book called "your body is you barbell" and thought it was pretty neat. Then I was looking around for programs and thought it'd be cool to do War Room Strategies again since it only focuses on one heavy upper and one heavy lower per week with some circuit style lifitng mixed in (which are higher reps and I could do a lot of body weight stuff for) as well as incorporates sprints on the circuit days and tells me not to do those on or around heavy workout days as they tax the cns too much and will fatigue you too badly to be able to lift with the intensitiy that you need to preserve muscle.
So I thought that might be a nice change. Today wil be an easy walk + heavy upper (mostly back and chest with some small shoulders/biceps/triceps worked in there) Circuit and spinting tomorrow, easy walk on Wednesday, easy walk on Thursday and also Legs, rest Friday, circuits and sprints Saturday. The circuits are short and intense and the sprinting is two days a week. I think this will be goodTeam Cookies Give You Superpowers

I didn't even notice you in that second picture at first because you're camouflaged by your light colored coat!
Yes, there was birthday funfetti cake. Also massive amounts of Chinese/Thai food. I looked like I was 5 months pregnant the next day, I was so bloated
Glad your new job is going well and you are finally melting the snow away. The last bit of glacier on my lawn melted last Sunday. I told my son I had been doubtful it would be all gone by his birthday, but we made it with a couple days to spare, lol."Eat some oatmeal, do some squats, how hard is that seriously."--Prof Ham

Thanks
Hahaha! I'm pretty camouflaged
lol, that's me today I had an awesome chicken and vegetable/gravy dinner at Stephen's parents house, followed by the most decadent chocolate cake EVER. It was chocolate and had a chocolate glaze over the chocolate frosting. It was like....an orgasm in my mouth over and over again. I couldn't stop going "Mmmmm...!" lol!!! I jiggle today.
Thank you! Job is pretty interesting! It'll be scary once I'm on my own. Getting trained in is fun but I think I'll have lots on my plate once I'm there all by myself!
It's gone back to being freezing again with flurries :mad. Well, at least you can see the ground now but the wind hurt my skin today it was so biting. Glad it's becoming more spring-like down your way as well I'm LONGING for some warm weather!!!Team Cookies Give You Superpowers

Pretty fun workout! My upper body feels smashed. I decided to start logging my workouts in the evenings so I can follow you guys in the mornings Calories are set to about 1700 for this week, just to see how that feels. Lower than that sucks but last week was also pms week randomly so that may have been why it felt so difficult.
My calorie burn is like, 200-300 calories less these days :/ Is my body media dying or am I just turning superhuman and nothing phases me anymore? lol!!! I’m lucky if I hit 2000 lately and hit as low as 1750 for the first time in years last week so I’m thinking it’ll be too much to see any losses but we’ll see what I burn with this week and adjust. I’m not going lower than I have to. Especially until I’m comfy in my new position.Team Cookies Give You Superpowers

It actually sounds worse than it is. I was expecting the worst but it's not bad. You might get one phone call a day where someone is upset and then all they want to know is if you'll help them and then they are grateful so it doesn't bother me. Not having someone bug you every second of the day is a very nice change. I'm enjoying having an office where I can come get work done and go home again. I'm going to an aution today to see if we can sell a house!
Looked pretty cool, didn't it? Loved the look of the water frozen in action
I'm not sure, maybe it was more of a lazy bug. Hahaha! Just got to get moving again. The relaxing apartment is making video games and tv watching too good. I need to get like, a treadmill and set it up in front of my tv or something!Team Cookies Give You Superpowers

This workout was fun! Will up the weight next time, this was mostly me just trying to beat myself into it. I enjoyed it though and actually felt energized afterwards instead of destroyed for a changeTeam Cookies Give You Superpowers

Mkay so Wednesday happened, that was cost-co day. Then I was planning legs on Thursday but was feeling pretty crappy after work. Then today came and I felt a bit worse so I stayed home and rested. Training at work now is all over and I'm on my own next week so I thought it'd be best to rest up and get better so I don't get worse. That usually works for me. I get run down and half crappy, I rest up and in a few days I'm good to go again so hopefully it'll work Stephen was really crappy too and stayed home as well. We randomly fell asleep today on the couch. We never sleep in the day time.
Next workout day is heavy legs and I was really excited about it and still am. Really hoping I can get it in on Sunday. It's like the upper body day with a heavy quad exercise supersetted with a lesser heavy but still heavy secondary quad movement. It was supposed to be 4-5 sets of 4-6 reps of cable squats + 4-5 sets of 6-8 reps for leg extensions (or wall balls That'd be evil) and then rest 2 minutes and the same scheme then for cable RDL supersetted with lying leg curls.
I'm really enjoying the sprinting too, that was so fun and I think I'm hooked, lol! I have a sweet spot to do them outside at lunch and when I was going good this week I was burning 2100-2200 cals per day and eating 1650-1700 cals and I had good energy and good brain functioning....And my legs were looking really shapely the other day and I'm dying to get back into it, lol!!!!!
The only thing I have to remember next upper and circuit days is to add in face pulls and landmine presses. They're awesome for rear delts and I forgot about them! Anyway. Happy FridayTeam Cookies Give You Superpowers
