Okie dokies! Stepping up my game this week! lol! Going to add in a high rep set of deads on hyper leg day since I'm not horribly sore like last week. Just gotta do plenty of foam rolling and stretching when I go home tonight and tomorrow, and up my cals a wee bit more on these stupid low carb days!
I may suck it up and exchange my delicious tuna sammich for something lower in carbs so I can eat more without going over my carb limit, but I never know what to eat. I have eggs for breakky, and meat and veggies for supper. What to have for lunch? No salad. Not going through the hassle! Blarg! Wish there was such thing as low carb chicken strips or something.....I need some easy low carb meal ideas. OH! I could make tuna patties!!! Just need some spices... Anyway, really excited to complete another weekTeam Cookies Give You Superpowers

Holy moly I didn't think it'd be so hard to come up with low carb meals! lol! Mmkay, so far I've got:
Breakky
1 coffee w/1 tbsp cream
2 whole eggs
1/2 cup egg whites
1 tbsp cream
2 slices of chicken bacon
1 cheese slice
Lunch
Tuna patties:
1 can tuna
1 egg
10g of cheese
Spices
1/4 cup oatmeal
Snack:
Protein Bar
Supper:
Meat
2 whole eggs
cheese
veggies
Before Bed
100g plain greek yogurt
0.5 tbsps cocoa
splenda
1/4 cup cottage cheese
some sort of chocolate
17g peanut butter
And that's 1581 cals/82g carbs. Better! Now I can just add some more spoonfuls of peanut butter in there and all set!Last edited by gobbles23; 01-14-2013 at 01:27 PM.

What are the macros you are shooting for? Carb cycling? 82 eek!! I am currently going for 200.

poached eggs and short-cut bacon with spinach and tomato on toast w vegemite is absolutely awesome. tis only ~15-20 grams (depending on what you do with fibre) carbo.
oat bran with protein powder and a bit of choc is good, too.
BBQ steak with oven chips. 100 grams has 22 grams carbs. that's a big pile
'low-carb' protein bars, but count sugar alcohols (often a rort).
then you eat canned tuna with lettuce for the rest of the dayLast edited by Miranda; 01-14-2013 at 05:01 PM.

UD2 Mass- Week 3 Day1!!!!!! YES!
Tuesday! <100g of carbs, 1600 cals
Chest/Triceps/Shoulders Later! Lunchtime cardio/morning/evening walking
Weight This Morning: 127.4
Sleep: 6:50! 90% efficiency! AWESOME!
HOY! Lately I'm noticing my arms/shoulders look awesome, I've never had such bicep/shoulder separation before It excites me! Stephen keeps telling me I'm "in the best shape ever." Hahaha! And even though I'm heavier/fluffier at the moment- I still have abs and stuff. It's pretty cool. If any fluff/water falls off this week I'm going to be feeling pretty good! YAY! 2 weeks down, 2 months to go! lol! I'd LOVE to do a few months of this!
It occurred tome last night that for all the money I spend on stupid tuna sandwiches- I could be buying meat! lol! 10 dollars of meat will yield me ~4-5 chicken breast for lunches, so I'm going to do that from now on! Last night I cooked chicken and cauliflower for lunch today. I have some cheese and some ranch dressing to go with it. YUM!
It's nice outside today (but cold) so I'll be doing something at lunch today for sure! I'm very sore though, I don't know if I'll be able to deadlift tomorrow afterall, I don't know how I managed to do that the last time I did this! My poor lower back! lol! Anyway, be back later with cardio report!Team Cookies Give You Superpowers

How did I manage to not post in here? I meant to! I am so blonde...
So, first of all, your hair turned out absolutely gorgeous! (I realize you've been hearing this from everyone else for pages and pages now... I'm just a little late to the party! ) I love it. Suits you so well. Yay!
Next - crazy workouts. Nice. You iz strong. You already knew that. I'm just being jelly, that's all.
Third - low carb meals are freakin' impossible. I'm working with 50 carbs/day on the low carb days. I'm having a hard time. Haha. So a tiny english muffin has like... 30 carbs. Bye-bye carb intake for the day. It's tough! I'm currently eating my brekkie of egg whites/eggs. And black coffee. I'm going to hate my life in about 2.5 days, aren't I? Hahahah
YAY for words of affirmation from Stephen! Of course, the boy would have to be blind not to know a good thing when he sees it. That being said, if you're anything like me, ya gotta hear it from an outside source sometimes!
I hope your work situation turns out okay. It's got to be SO frustrating. I don't completely understand (because I'm not in your situation!), but I do sympathize with the uncertainties of work, where you're going to go, whether you're actually going to get work, how far you're willing to travel, etc. Ugh. Life. Sometimes it hits me that I'm an adult now, and I have to make real-life decisions that don't just involve me anymore. When did that happen?! Haha.
Happy Tuesday! My Journal - Large, But Not in Charge: http://forum.bodybuilding.com/showthread.php?t=128025573

Hey, chickie. When I used to be more concerned about my carb intake, I used to eat a lot of plain 2% greek yogurt for lunch. F.age is like 8g carb to 20g protein. And if I added a scoop of whey in it for sludge, it would end up being like 10g carb and 44g protein, for less than 300 calories. Those were good dieting macros, but I got awfully sick of eating that shiz after awhile, haha.

Heya Ricki!
Thanks so much! Appreciate the kind words
I'm kind of surprised that I look slightly more muscular (since I've been taking creatine/more carb filled and stuff) and he actually complimented me! lol! We had issues in the past about being too muscley (even though I'm not by a long shot..). But now he seems totally ok with it and he's actually proud of me!!! It's nice
Low carbs is hard! lol! But not too bad- I love eggs and cheese and turkey/chicken bacon and veggies and chicken, and peanut butter! So it's kind of neat to be rotating meals and switching things up here and there. Once you get a few meals sorted and find new recipes it gets easier! I have a few more ideas now and I'm exicted!
It's actually not TOO bad, I'm not concerned. I'm ready to flee as soon as things go awry, but I'm not worried about that- more excited about going on an adventure and obtaining a better position and money! But I want to juice this for as long as I can since all the experience I have on my resume is short term. The hiring agency I'm with will have me something else once my 2 week notice is up anyway (if I have to put that in), so that takes most of the stress out of it. Of course I'd love to have something steady, but it will come in time I have this stubborn side of me that thinks "If they don't want me they can go to hell and I don't want to be here anyway!" Screw it!Team Cookies Give You Superpowers

HI ANDREA! Oh yum! I don't have any protein powder anymore, I haven't bought it in months!!! But I do love me some greek yogurt- I have a healthy serving of that planned for the evenings! I'd eat more than 100g but it's kind of pricey Hahaha! I'm planning on picking up some protein powder soon, but even without it I'll be hitting 160g of protein today! So I was thinking of never buying it again! But it would be an easy way to get my calories up without the carbs!

Isn't it funny how much money we spend on prepared items? When I calculated how much I was spending a month going out to lunch, I was like

Aww, thanks! I have a ways to go yet, but getting there!
Yeah, I don't find it too too bad, I was just all like "I can't eat chicken everyday for lunch- it's too expensive!" when in reality it is about the same price as the tuna I buy every week anyway. lol! I never buy lunch, I always make it- it really does add up!Team Cookies Give You Superpowers

Lunchtime cardio DONE!
I don't even know why I come in here and say that- I do it everyday regardless. It's the funnest part of my work day, I'd never be able to survive now without my lunchtime walks! So refreshing.
Be back later with workout + videos!

Hey miss Lori!
So much going on in here! I love the new color on you! It softens your features and really makes your pretty eyes pop even more God your videos make me so jealous, in a good way though Arms looking awesome in the last videos. So glad Stephen is noticing and approving
I can understand the frustration with your job. Not doing what you were hired to do sound terrible, but at least monies coming in and you have experience to put down. I bet the the other person they hired may have had experience or training in something you didn't that they needed?
Sorry to hear about the sleep woes, I completely understand I'm getting about 5-6 hours a night with less than 70% efficiency. Once you are in your own place I bet it will be a lot better.
Lunch time cardio, I do it too! But mine is more of a waddle around the building and not sprinting :PIf this were easy, everyone would walk around ripped.
I like eating, it helps with the not dying.

Thanks P!
Hi Erica!
Thanks so much! I'm so happy he doesn't care anymore! Woot!
Yeah, it's kind of hard to know what to be doing. I know that she's older and has more experience, and I was not qualified for the position I applied for at all. I can't type a billion words a second like what's required. I know that my supervisor said she's working on getting me hired and that they're going to train me on some new things, but I feel as though I may be wasting my time waiting around. I informed the hiring agency that I'm with that I may be putting in my notice soon, and she's ok with that. I explained the situation to her, so if this week goes by and I'm taken off reception and not being trained on anything else I'll go someplace else. It bugs me, but I try not to let it Either way I'm sure to have employment- the one I'm with is awesome, and I do have experience now, so I'm sure things will work out.
It's awful, isn't it!? It's getting better now that we have new ear plugs But yeah, having a place of our own would be ideal!
Hahaha! A waddle is better than nothingTeam Cookies Give You Superpowers

UD2 Mass Week 3 Day 2!
Wednesday! Low Carbs/Cals
Legs and Back Later
Cardio at lunchtime/mornings and evenings (walking to/from bus)
Sleep last night: 5:03/68% efficiency
Weight This Morning: 126.4
Okie dokies. Sore and stiff today! Must stretch traps/lats/hips/hammies more. Ok. Last night I received some supps from SNS. I absolutely love their products, and am starting up a supp log today. I have: Focus XT (caffeine free) pre-workout, Green Coffee Bean Extract (??) and some Agmatine E2 Matrix (N.O product) I'm still trying to research the coffee bean stuff. I'm currently taking my e/c stack on my diet days, so I have to figure out how all this is going to mix. Should be fine, but I WOULD like to sleep tonight! lol!
Annnd I'm still fluffy! I think it's water- it's jiggly like soft bread dough! Hahaha! Whatever, we'll see I have to go in a bit, I'm not sure what today holds for me since the new woman is here today. I may be training her on reception which means I can't journal, or I may not be here at all. I'm always here though for 45 minutes in the morning until the other woman gets in. I will be back at some point today though to start up my new log/catch up with you guys/update things when I can

Love the pics! Your arms are amazing. And your videos always remind that I need to PUSH myself harder.

Was trying to add you to my 'inspires me' list, but couldn't find the option to do so.
