Thanks
YAY JESSE!
Thank you!!!!
Thanks! It was good! I bought some extra lean ground chicken and made a chicken patty out of it, threw it on a bun with a light cheese slice and ketchup/mustard, and baked a potato, chopped it into fries and baked them in the oven. Was very satisfying and tasty! Thne before bed I ate a blueberry bagel!

UD2 Mass Day 5!
Calories Yesterday- 1950
Saturday- Carb/creatine Load all day- Rest
Weight this morning: 122.4 (New low!)
Okie dokie! Yesterday went pretty smooth. Protein bar after groceries, tension workout, carb load. Woke up this morning at a new low that I've never seen before on this scale, and proceeded to stuff myself with fat free just add water pancakes with strawberries! Yummers! Then I took down the christmas tree and put most of the christmas stuff away. We still have a lot of cleaning/tidying to do- Andrew gets home on Tuesday so we have to put the place back together! Hahaha! Also need to wander to an eye clinic today and see if I can get some new contact lenses. And go to Future shop and replace the mp3 player I got stephen. And we're going to pick up a few things for Andrew for christmas. Shoppers has Axe gift sets on sale and we were going to go buy him a t-shirt in addition to the dvds I got him.
And I'll have to eat a lot of carbs. I only got about 170g in total last night. There shall be bagels and a sweet potato and some oatmeal in my future! And an apple. I want an apple. And stretching. Lots of that! Ouch Im tight! Damn my keyboards acting funny- my apostophe button comes up as a number sign. Anyway, POWER WORKOUT tomorrow! Lots of box squats and deadlifts and stuff!!! Stupid keyboard won`t let me press the backslash key to finish the color code. Grr!Team Cookies Give You Superpowers

Hey Lori! I've been lurking and keeping up on my phone
Seems like UD2 mass is working pretty darn well for you I say keep up with it for a while and see what kind of mass you can build. I like the selection of exercises, having limited equipment makes for interesting improvises lol.
I hope you find out soon about the job, knowing if you have a permanent position would totally make looking for your own place a lot easier. If not hopefully some of the applications you've sent out will yield some options too
Enjoy your carb up! Apples are so yummy, especially now that you can get them and they are not all mushy. If this were easy, everyone would walk around ripped.
I like eating, it helps with the not dying.

Hi! Happy Saturday!
Glad you're liking the new program. Newb question (can I still play the "newb" card?) - what is the difference between UD2 Diet and UD2 Mass? I can only find "UD2.0" online, and I don't know if there's a difference. Also, is it too advanced for a non-lifting-heavy girlie like me to try?
Pancakes... om nom nom nom... right up there with homemade waffles.
Have you ever tried coloured contact lenses? I don't wear contacts much anymore, because I can't find any that don't irritate my eyes. But I prefer them over glasses...
Random Rickie post is random. Sorry!
Hope you have an AWESOME day!!My Journal - Large, But Not in Charge: http://forum.bodybuilding.com/showthread.php?t=128025573

Hey Erica
Yes, I will definitely continue to aquire mass- what what I even thinking when I questioned it? Hahahhaa! Muscle=awesome.
Thanks- I don't know, there's talk of them training me on Fed-ex and print room which would mean my employment is almost guarenteed to be secured, but then I'm sure they hired a new secretary last week So I don't know. It doesn't really matter though, we're with the dean group hiring agency so they'll confirm employment for me rather than the company I'm working for anyway, and they'll find me work until I find something permanent. I think most of the big companies hire through agencies around here- there are almost no external postings for these types of jobs. It'll be ok We will get apartment regardless! We even have Andrew to sign for us
Thanks! I don't think it's possibe to enjoy a carb up. lol! I'm not a big eater, and they're HARD!
Hey Ricki! Happy Sunday!
UD2 diet is geared more towards losing fat with the possibility of building muscle along the way. UD2 mass is geared towards building muscle with the slight chance of gaining no/very little fat while you build! I'd say at the point you're at now regular diet/lifting will yeild great results for you yet
I don't wear colored lenses- I like the color of my eyes. I just hate wearing glasses! They irritate my eyes at times too, but that's the price I pay for vanity I will get laser eye surgery done eventually. After I get braces!Team Cookies Give You Superpowers

UD2 Mass Week 1
Day 6- Power Workout- Mod. carbs/mod fat/mod protein. I like to call it a "whatever" kind of day!
Weight this morning: 123.8 pre-bathroom
Calories Yesterday- 2250
Carb Load Totals: 3155 cals/530g carbs/114g protein/28g fat
Yay! I feel awesome today. I'm all up and showered, my jeans are still really loose fitting, my body temperature finally feels normal. I was so warm yesterday! And last night, and this morning! I was freezing forever, but I finally feel like a normal person! lol! Today is power workout day! And we're haivng breaded baked chicken breast/broccoli/potato for supper. Yummers! Perfect after power workout feast!
I have my power workout all written out. I'm going to go back to doing sets of deadlifts. I haven't done that in forever, so I gues I'll start doing sets of 3-5 with 235 and take it form there. I wanted to do box squats but I hate that stupid crate- it's so uncomfortable. So I think I'll stick with deads and zerchers for legs. That sounds ok too. I really miss box squats- I love those. I need to buy a chair. I can't believe we don't have a chair. Anyway, be back later with workout!
Oh, wait! A summary of this week so far:
UD2 Mass- Week 1:
Jan 1st –Tues- Upper Hyper/1588 cals/90g carbs- 123.8
Jan 2nd Wed- Lower Hyper-1470- 126.4
Jan 3rd Thurs- Rest-1480-125
Jan 4th Fri- Tension Workout-1950- 122g carbs/22g protein/7.5g fat- 123.3
Jan 5th Sat- Rest/Carb Load- 122.4- 2250- 403g carbs/74g protein/20g fat
Jan 6th Sun- Power Workout- 123.8
Jan 7th Mon- Rest
I didn't mean for the beginning of the week to be so low, I just didn't know what to eat for no carbs. Calorie average so far is 1747. So I shall try to eat about 2300 calories today, and about 2200 tomorrowTeam Cookies Give You Superpowers

This workout wasn’t as powerful as I would have liked! Hahaha! But then again, it’s been a while since I did this type of workout, and for the past few months I’ve been doing a split with all my heavy exercises for each muscle group at the beginning of each workout when they’re fresh, so I guess it makes sense that I wouldn’t be able to lift as much where they’re being used for all heavy movements. Or maybe I lost a little strength while I was dieting. Or a bad day? Who knows!!!! Things felt very heavy! A good start though, and I’m looking forward to increasing everything from here

Then I’ll put some supper on and continue to enjoy games and alcohol until it’s ready Woot woot! Aiming for a good 2300-2400 cals today.Team Cookies Give You Superpowers

UD2 Mass Week 2
Day 1- Tuesday- Low Cals/Carbs (~1500 cals/<100g Carbs)
Chest/Shoulders/Arms Hypertrophy
Weight this morning: 126lbs
Ok! I'm so very sore still, so I'm leaving back until tomorrow and pairing it with legs. I'm still trying to increase the calories on these days. I don't know where to put anything though. So far my meals/days have been looking like this:
Breakky: 6:30 am
Scrambled eggs:
1/2 cup egg whites
2 whole eggs
1 tbsp cream mixed with a little water
w/ cheese slice melted in there
2 slices chicken bacon
Brisk 12-15 minute walk
Lunch: 12:00 am
Tuna Sandwich:
3/4 can tuna
2 slices bread
1 spoon Greek yogurt + reg. Yogurt + 1 tsp miracle whip
Honey mustard + reg. mustard.
25-30 minute walk/jog
Snack: 3:15pm
Protein Bar
12-15 minute brisk walk
Workout from 6:00- ~7:00-7:30
Supper: 7:30-8:00ish pm
Some kind of meat (3oz)
Broccoli + cauliflower
Cheese
2 whole eggs
Before Bed: 9:00ish
120g plain greek yogurt
1 tbsp cocoa
1 tbsp peanut butter
Splenda
This week I added in the extra supper egg, and the 2 slices of chicken bacon, the cream in eggs to make them fluffy, and the miracle whip for extra flavor. lol! And this still only comes out to: 1458 cals/96g carbs/150g protein/53g fat. So I guess that's it then. lol! More peanut butter but that will bring me over my carb limit. No more fats because too much oil and egg yolk in meals makes me queasy.
MMmkay, so I've had a total of about 9 hours of sleep in 2 days. I'm so sleepy, I need something. I was thinking of picking up some ZMA just for the zinc (immune system) + extra help sleeping? I need something to help me sleep more solid, my sleep efficiency sucks My recovery sucks. I've been taking glutamine capsules and vit C every day, multiple times. I think it's the only thing keeping me alive
Walked to work this morning from the mall. Will go for a walk at lunchtime. Will report back with afternoon cardioLast edited by gobbles23; 01-08-2013 at 05:30 AM.
