Thank you!
Hahaha! It was very annoying! And somewhat humbling that I didn't even have 1.49 in my account! Luckily I got paid way more than I was expecting to this week. Not sure why though...Huh.
Thank you!!!
It's actually supposed to be around 10 degrees all week, so I may hold off on the snowpants! Definitely a good idea to stay warm though Sicky is gone!
Thank goodness indeed! Woohoo!
Tonight we're just going to relax! I'm going to get a quick leg workout in, drink a few brewskies, and chill out and watch some Game of Thrones with everyone. Tomorrow we're going to the mall, and then we're hiking on a trail that's just before the mall! We're planning on taking lots of pictures! Then there's a party to go to in the eveing, and when we get home we're going to watch the UFC event and order some food! I'm so glad it's friday!

Thank you Erica! I was pleasently surprised! I'm eating around 2000 cals during the weekdays and a good 2400 on Fridays and Saturdays! I think....I usually go light all day Saturday and do a pile of activity, so it may only add up to about 2200ish. Sundays I eat like a bird though to make up for that. Hahaha! I think all the fluff from the increase in calories and carbs fell off- even my arms have more definition! And my abs are back! I'm happy!
Thank you! Payday is awesome- it's so nice to have moeny coming in every week! I gotta start conserving it a little- last week was harsh ebcause I only got a cheque for 2 days work and I had to buy a bus pass for 75 dollars and then I spent a good 150 on clothes, and 20 dollars on some food. lol! Clothes is more important than groceries
Swooshie! Hi!
Thanks so much! It's cold in teh basement! hahaha! I'd freeze my buns off in my undies without those socks! Hahaha!
Humidifier is a great idea, I will look into those! And thanks for the papaya tip- I've never heard of that one but its worth a shot! I only use the over the counter spray maybe once a month if I really need it- the other one is prescriptionTeam Cookies Give You Superpowers

Hi everybody! I didn't get my workout in last night, but it was vertical push pull and my back and shoulders were sore anyway. Today I will do a light leg workout when I get home. Just Deficit RDL's and Box squats with 8-10 reps and for 4-5 sets. Then heavy legs on Monday, see how that works. Maybe a light day and a heavy day will work better than 2 heavy days. And I'll do some upperbody on Sunday I may be a little hungover on Sunday, but full of carby goodness lol! Was thinking of walking this afternoon, but I gotta run to the bus stop in a few hours, and run home, and do legs, so I may just rest. TOM is being super stupid and not coming even though I've had the most god awful pms symptoms for more than a week now It's making me so sleepy, and nauseous, and achy. Blah. Hopefully the higer calories this weekend will force it along- it's a bit delayed. ANyway, be abck later with workout and vids!

Hi Lori!
Have a great leg workout today - especially with the recovery problems you've been having a lighter day sounds like a great idea.
Best wishes on TOM showing up to put you out of your misery sooner than later. I'm in the same boat with that - started pills for the first time in forever this month and the pack says TOM should be here Sunday. That bastard better be on time because I'm bloated and cranky as a mofo.
Have a great weekend! Please join me on my journey to find balance:

Ahoy hoy! It is Saturday today! I'm up nice and early-ish. It is 9:55. lol! Never slept the day away as much as last weekend, so I'm happy! Going to go wash myself, wash some clothes, get ready and go to the mall! Going to try to pick up some sweaters for wearing under my jacket. I also need a new electric toothbrush, and some other boring items Party tonight, then UFC and chinese food! Whoooo!
We had pizza last night! Here's how I'm not obese- I mentally calculated I ate about 1700 cals before the pizza. Then I had 2 small slices. Maybe 600-700 calories in 2 pieces? So about 2300 or thereabout. Today I'll probably have a light lunch and not eat anything until supper, have a small supper, drink 3 light beer at the party, and then have Chinese food which will be followed by a day of light eating again tomorrow. And a workout! The food after the party will sober me up nicely.
Then all week long I continue to eat my 1300 calories until suppertime, then have a nice supper and a small snack afterwards. Everyday I have my oats/eggs/peanut butter for breakky (400 cals), then a protein bar on morning break (193 cals), then a sandwich and hot chocolate for lunch (500 cals), then a protein bar (193 cals), then it's boot it home and do a workout, then I have supper (300-500 cals) then a small 200 calorie snack. The diet of champions Hahaha! I like consistency! lol!
Excited to start back up with power/muscle/burn. It's so similar to how I am always training, but I like the 4 days and the one leg day, though I don't know about a hamstring burn set. High rep deads, but not 40 reps 2 sets of 20, maybe. Sorry, lower back. lol! Sissy squats for quad burn set! This excites me. Tomorrow is chest and biceps! ANyway, enough rambling! Off to enjoy my day today! Hope you all have a wonderful weekend!Team Cookies Give You Superpowers

Thank you! We had a great time!
Just like moshvr said! I seriously almost fell asleep during the preliminaries, but the second last and final fight....Oh my. lol! Condit and GSP are two of my favourite fighters, I didn't know who I wanted to win! And what a battle! I had a huge smile on my face the whole time! Hahaha!
Awesome summary! I'm excited to see if they put Silva up against gsp! What an epic battle that would be, hey?!
The last event had awesome smaller fights, but last nights were brutally slow and boring! Maybe you can stream it from the internet today??Team Cookies Give You Superpowers

Hey guys! Had a wonderful Saturday full of shopping, partying, and UFC watching! Oh, and the chinese food was amazing! This morning we went and got groceries, so that's all done! Washing some clothes here in a bit, then we're going to go to a coffee shop and get a specailty coffee and split a yummy looking brownie we were eyeing last weekend between us!!! When we come home we're going to cook a big pot of beef stew and do an epic leg workout! It'll be the first day of Power/Muscle/Burn, revisited. I actually love doing legs once a week because I tend to push them harder when they're nice and recovered.

Gobz is all sunshine and lollipops.... but still loves to see a hell of a scrap.
She's a newf through & through.
If you look in the Powerlifting section there's an MMA subsection and they almost always have a big thread for every event.... usually containing LIVE streams. I've watched a few that way.
Oh and hai Gobz!
