lol, I doubt!!!!! I am much more of a heavy lifting fan these days. Volume is hard and I tend to be too lazy for it, especially with cardio at lunch and hiking/skiing season coming up. I might do GVT, I might not. Lately I've just been doing a bit of full body, sometimes just upper or lower, for about 6-12 reps.
I will make a real plan now after Christmas and stick to it for a while and set goals. Still up in the air about the volume thing, hahaha. I'm pretty into doing what feels right at the time and listening to my body rather than having a set plan. I have about 10 go-to exercises these days I just keep focusing on
YAY Merry Christmas Swooshie

Hey guys! Just partying it up over here and lifting whenever I feel up for it, lol, which is usually every second day Did legs yesterday, and full body a few days ago.
After Christmas we are moving to a different apartment that's more like a two story half house so no more kids waking us up every morning. And my next course at work starts so it'll be busy so I'm planning on lifting in the mornings which I just need to stop thinking about and just DO it. And I will. And I will journal my workouts again to stay accountable And I will buy a fitbit Charge HR and start recording everything again.
I'd add set goals but I have no body goals at the moment cause I'm totally content, so maybe some strength goals will be nice. Maybe I will start a strength program that just focuses on one main move per day with a few accessory exercises. I'll wake up at 4:50 and start lifting at 5:05 until 6:00 so I'll keep them short and simple. Cardio at lunch still. Sitting at 121.4lbs still.
Anyway, Merry Christmas everyone I'm having a fantastic holiday and hope you all are too I am going to come visit you guys this afternoon, after lunchTeam Cookies Give You Superpowers

Happy New Year, chickie!
It makes me smile so much to hear you're completely content with where you are/how you look. Would love to see some of your lovely NF/Christmas/Lori pics but yeah, posting 'em on here sucks so much now. I figure I'll get used to it and it will get easier, right? lol! Rotted that I missed this morning. I was awake and everything but thought it was much early cause I was waiting on my alarm!!!!
So glad you guys had a great holiday Happy New Year!!

Well, finally back to work! Set my alarm for 5:00am this morning so I could get up and lift but it didn’t go off So now I’m mad! Hahaha! I decided to do a low volume push/pull legs split. Push Monday, Legs Wednesday, Pull Friday. So today was supposed to be push and I f#cked it up already
Going to stick with:
Push Day:
Floor presses
Chest dips
Tricep dips
OH press
Legs:
SL RDL
Hindu squats
Side lunges
and something else (goblets or G/H raises)
Pull day will be:
BO rows
Chin-ups
Upright rows
and face pulls.
In a 3-4 sets of 4-6 reps kind of range.
It’s a much needed grocery day so I might try to squeeze it in afterwards, just for ½ and hour after supper, or I might wait until tomorrow and get up early two days in a row. It depends!
Despite all the booze and pizza and cookies and poor diet choices I am still 121.4lbs today! I even tried eating more and stuffing my face all week as a diet break kind of thing but I guess I’m good to go. Haha. Not that I want to lose weight, just make sure my metabolism is up to par after the weight I lost.
My bodymedia is telling me I’ve been burning less lately, probably because I weigh less. Goal is to eat about 1800-2000 cals a day ( I burn about 1900 on average even with walking at lunch) Basically just to maintain and train hard
Happy Monday??Team Cookies Give You Superpowers

This workout was despicable, lol!!! I don’t know if I lost strength or if it’s because morning workouts suck but this was brutal.
Normally I can do at least 12-15 chest and tricep dips with my bodyweight so I was planning on using a 25lb plate for those. Floor presses I can do 110lbs for low reps, and for OH press I can do standing with 75lbs for a few reps. So this was like….huh?
Floor presses took forever because Stephen worked out with me and it was; do a set, change the weight, do a set, change the weight, etc.
On top of that I screwed up my alarm AGAIN (only had it set at 5 for Mon/Wed/Fri) so I woke up late and 15 minutes in we still hadn’t made it past floor presses, lol!
So I guess the lack of strength may have also come from supersetting and no rest between sets. Haha. Anyway, I’ll need to alter my plans for limited equipment + sharing the weights. When we move we are thinking of buying a bench!
Push- Tues, Jan. 5th
Floor Presses: 3x4-6 reps
35’sx12
80x5
100x3
100x3
Weighted Push-Ups: (to make up for only 2 sets of presses)
Bwx10
+25lbs x0 (used to be able to do 45lbs!)
A1- Chest Dips
x7
x6
x6
x7
A2- Tricep Dips
x4
x4
x4
x6
Standing OH Barbell Press
50x7
60x5
60x5
60x5
Arg! Glad I got it in, but I am thinking of doing something else instead of floor presses until we get a bench. Maybe weighted push-ups with a backpack, or maybe I will buy a weight vest. Or go old school and just use a belt. I need to make another post to plan tomorrows workout and to post food info!Team Cookies Give You Superpowers

Food looks like this these days:
Bananan OR 1/2 scoop protein + almond milk (need something in my tummy before coffee):
A cup of Coffee @ 6:30
7:30:
2 eggs
1 slice toast
10:50:
Greek yogurt
½ cup Fruit or berries
30g cashews
1:00 –Walk
1:50 – Protein bar + banana
5:00- usually munch on something here, probably a banana
6:00- supper – Meat and veggies or something
Maybe an alcoholic drink (baileys+ almond milk has been my go-to lately )
8:00- 1 scoop protein powder + ½ cup plain greek yogurt + 1 tbsp peanut butter (or something similar. Sometimes protein + almond milk + a handful of cereal)
My stomach still hurts (acid reflux or whatever) so it’s hard to manage eating. Everything and nothing makes it hurt these days. Eating too much hurts, going too long without food hurts, and eating anything hurts. I can’t eat at my desk or eat too much at once or eat too close to bedtime so I’m really trying to manage it the best way I can! I need to add in more food, so it’ll probably be in the way of peanut butter, hahaa. Oh my.Team Cookies Give You Superpowers

Moving is never fun, I've done far too many lol. At least it's a good move and will help financially
We've had the same issue waking up. Yesterday and today was like nope!
I hate when you get all pumped to bust X weight out and when it comes time to do that the body refuses to cooperate lol. At least you got it in amd it's a launching point for some bad assery.
For the food, you might want to consider more carbs to help absorb the acid? I know rice and oatmeal are gentle on the tummy and when I have heart burn/upset tummy, it seems to help a bit. Pasta does the same, as long as I am not downing a ton of red sauce with it .If this were easy, everyone would walk around ripped.
I like eating, it helps with the not dying.

It definitely won't help financially as it's a slight bit more (they wanted enough to cover the mortgage payments) but it's only an extra $25 dollars each so it's not that bad. It's really only a quiet place where we can have a big yard and a big deck to ourselves, but other than that not much difference. The privacy and quiet is worth it though It's hopefully the last place we'll be moving before Stephen's pop's house becomes available. That one will be easier financially
Carbs definitely help! Over Christmas I was eating a tonne of bread and cookies and bananas and it helped a lot. Except for breakfast with the eggs and toast burns my tummy. Oatmeal seems ok, but it's more of a sharp pain rather than reflux and it comes and goes so it's so hard to tell what is causing it and what helps. I was eating 3 bananas a day! lol.
That's a good point, actually because since I am back to my regular diet...ouch the pain. I just don't know what to be eating for break and lunch. I don't sit down to eat for lunch because I don't have time so I usually just scarf down a protein bar after my walk. Maybe if I cut down on the alcohol it'll settle down. I think that's my issue right now Though it's more of a sharp stabbing pain, like gas maybe? All the time, right under my ribcage

So this is where I am right now:
Not much of a difference from before. I am just maintaining muscle and my muscles have deflated from lack of use so no pump anywhere. With a good, solid couple months of consistent training I'm hoping they will be more juicy We were looking at an oly bench today that's on sale for $200! Might pick it up tomorrow Won't take it out of the box and set it up until we move (cause it's only a few weeks away) but I'm planning on making a pretty sweet gym room and getting a bench and some other fun things!!!!Team Cookies Give You Superpowers
