So I decided to try something very strange this morning. I brewed 12 oz of chai tea and added a scoop of ON Whey, stirred it for a little (at this point it seemed fine), put the lid on and went to take a sip. Well what i was greeted with was not some frothy delicious morning beverage, it was a curdled blob of protein globs. Damn near made me puke all over my kitchen floor. Has this happened to anyone else or am I the first to encounter this phenomenon?

As much as I like dissing ON, that seems to be user error. Use a shaker or a blender next time man. You clearly didn't mix it well enough.

It was mixed well enough, the chocolate mixed through and at the top of the drink white protein blobs were bobbing up and down. I know this was not just a mixing error, there was some sort of separation of ingredients, I'm thinking due to the boiling water. And, I had never tried the chai mixture, nor have i heard of it. You never know if it will be good until you try it, so i did!

adding protein to hot liquid will make it turn into something nasty. let it cool for a bit and then try blending it together.
