If you don't want to compete but would like to judge and know what to look for in the lifts, let me know and I will add your name to the list of judges in the official thread!
once we get enough people to pledge in, we'll take a look at the average weights and decide how many classes we will do. Then set up the thread for the videos!
Everybody is welcome, even if you don't think you'll win, why not try, to give yourself that extra motivation in the gym!
THE RULES:
Teen BB PL competition:
3 categories
Full power (S/B/D)
Push/pull (B/D)
Bench only
You may compete in only one category. Each lift contested will be a one-rep maximum.
Winners will be determined via wilks formula:

THERE WILL BE NO WEIGHT CLASSES. The wilks calculator will help put all of us on a slightly more even playing field than running weight classes.
Depending on how many people compete in each category, it will determine how many winners there are. (i.e. if there are 30 competitors in full power, then the top 5 will probably get mod reps. If say only 10 competitors in push/pull, then probably the top 1 gets mod reps).

Known winner as TBB PL champ
If you choose to compete and submit a video, I and various other members will rep you.
Equipment allowed:
knee sleeves
wrist wraps
belt
chalk
Lifting attire:
Don't wear anything too baggy, like sweat pants, or a sweatshirt. Lifting in a fitted shirt and shorts is most preferred.
Date of competition (videos must be submitted by this date):
December 1st (Yes, i know it seems late; but it gives people some time to train, there are tons of people in this section that think "I already know I cant win because XXXX is stronger then me." Well at least giving them some time gives them more hope and motivation to train harder and do better.)
Other random stuff:
- Squats must be parallel or below.
- Bench has a 1 second pause. Doesn't have to be a long USAPL pause, but just long enough to make sure you don't bounce it off your chest.
- Buttocks must stay on bench entire time.
- Spotter cannot touch you in any of the lifts.
- You must film the squat/deadlift from the SIDE.
- Bench does not have to be filmed from the side, however just not some crazy weird angle.
- You cannot change categories after you have submitted a video.
- You can submit as many videos as you like.
- For anyone wondering, yes you can pull your gay Sumo deadlift and it will count (unfortunately)...but NO straps.

We will all give the lift either a red or white. Majority rules. If there are 2 reds, then its a bad lift. If there are 2 whites, its a good lift.

For squat to make sure you go parallel. For DL to make sure you lockout.
