Yeah, rest days always help.
I don't even know what tiger balm is.
I've been interested in Cube for a while, but the whole switching everything around isn't my thing... so I'll change one thing at a time.
I've never tried Westside.
Cube: http://www.jtsstrength.com/store/ Amazon has it cheaper: http://www.amazon.com/The-Cube-Metho.../dp/B00CSWPN2S If you don't have a Kindle: http://www.amazon.com/gp/feature.htm...cId=1000426311 Hope that works.

damn that sucks man, I tweaked my neck early last year while doing side lateral raises, know dat feel. Were all getting ****ed up. I know what you mean by inconvenient, the time I bought the oly set, just off a deload and trying to find out maintenance, then I get rocked.

Thanks. It's a strong grip, but people tear their biceps using it too often for my taste. With the overhand and then straps when weight gets heavy I'm on the safer side. I will train my grip separately and work more on my hook grip as well. For people competing, I can completely understand if they choose to use the mixed grip. I just lift because I enjoy it and it's a nice way to stay healthy and strong. None of those goals will be achieved, if I'm at home with a torn bicep.
It continues to improve, so I'm not too worried about it. I'll be benching tomorrow.Lifting Log: http://forum.bodybuilding.com/showthread.php?t=147159883

WU:
10xBar
5x60kg/132lbs
5x60kg/132lbs (F'ucking around in the power rack to get the pins to a good height. Might need a thicker rubber mat to put the bench on for an optimal anti-body-crushing/not-hit-the-pins setup.)

WS:
5x116kg/256lbs
3x130kg/287lbs

Still room for improvement without a reset I think.
