I haven't read all 17+ pages, but I read enough to get an overall impression.

I've been a "casual" miscer for 9+ years, and lurking all the way back to the days of the unmentionable sections.

Detectives were the start of the fall.

Next came the censorship.

The banning of fun stuff like MS paint threads. I got a ban for a stick figure using his penor as a helicopter to get a kitten out of a tree. This is when I stopped enjoying the misc, and decided to no longer make purchases on this site.

Once this place wasn't fun anymore, the negativity was simply the death blow.

The issue is when users started hassling undeserved people off the site, either though social media or IRL.Quite often this has resulted in legal issues for bb.com and as a result a lot of the fun had to be rained in.
Its essentially bad for business.
