Maybe she fukked up bad on something she usually gets perfect... When I used to be at a competing level in my sport if I messed up something I really shouldn't have I would be in my own head getting pissed off for the first half hour or so after the competition... She probably cheered up later on and dealt with it.

To those of you defending her actions, saying she's only 16 and that it's not an attitude contest:
It's the Olympics though. It's supposed to be about more than just the competition. It represents a coming together of nations, yes to compete, but also to show solidarity with each other.
What if this had been a Romanian chicks snubbing an American athlete? I'm sure there would have been threads made complaining about it on here.

Came in here to say this. It's the freaking Olympics. It IS an attitude contest as well as an athletics contest. Behaving like a prissy little bitch when you lost is not sporting behavior, and when you're representing your country, you damn well better suck it up and present your good side to the world. No excuses.

She is just a stuck up entitled bitch. She did pretty well in the contest but it doesnt mean others didnt. Others put as much effort as her. She has no right to be an ass with others just because she came second. As an athlete, she should show respect to other athletes because they are all here because they are the best. She has no right to cover the medal. Thing is, the whole gymnastic team has some issues. The black girl in the team was being an ass too when some American media channel complained that she should fix her hair and keep them clean. She said its none of their business and some other ****.
